Other knights are impossible to kill without artifacts, mages and guardians are not. I could kill them with my 180 dmg spectre flails without my runes except for Amaru cause he's just an awesomely tanky lil bitch and Moondancers but we wont start on them smile.gif (just Tuek and Narsrim really tongue.gif)

Unartifacted weapons are most of the time better for bashing than artifacted...first off, elemental runes don't affect mobiles, and to attach greatrunes, you have to downgrade your weapons. So a pair of good weapons without any tempering will always be better than artifacts.
