It is, however, a bug, because Estarra said it is.

Anyone with the slightest grasp of economic theory could have told you that all meaningful tradeskill trade was lucky to have lasted this long. The model Lusternia uses and the way it is set up simply doesn't provide an environment for stable economic growth in small world environments. If there were about five times as many people active in the realm at any given time, the model would work very well. Unfortunately, this is not the case, so the system breaks down and the problems you are currently bemoaning inevitably crop up.

I've been saying that tongue.gif

In any case, just on a semi-unrelated topic..
What's the bonus from philosopher's stone.. And is a sip bonus linear? As in, as a faeling trans alchemist do I get level 2 sip? tongue.gif

Hmm, yup, that's a bug that no one has bothered to tell us about!

That is the kind of bug very few would report. First it does not help their cause. Second, there is
little evidence that it shouldn't be like it is.

Can you change it on a whim, or do you only get to choose once when you reach transcendent?
110942

Somewhere in between. You can change it, but not on a whim. If you decide to change it, you'll have no immunity until the end of the month, and then you'll get the new immunity.

There's no reason to change it, though. About 80% of poison use is charybdon, to which you cannot be immune; and about 80% of what's left is mantakaya. Everything after that is not only rarely used, it's easily cured. (People fighting guardians use hadrudin sometimes, but for warriors, that's not a problem. Please waste your afflicting opportunities on giving me disloyalty!)

So pretty much any warrior poisonist will be immune to mantakaya. About the only downside is that if you know the fellow you're fighting is a trans poisonist, you might realize to use some other poison on your weapons. But unless you have charybdon (in which case you'd be using it), it really won't matter which one you use, if the other guy can cure at all. All the other poisons do is consume herb and potion balance erratically.
Terenas2005-05-01 20:58:04
Since resilience's ability to shrug poisons has been downgraded, I think it should only be fair that trans poisonist should receive the % of poison shrugging removed from trans resilience. So if trans resilience used to give 33% shrugging, and now it's around 25%, just give a Trans poisonist/resilience 33% poison shrugging on top of one poison immunity, I think that's only fair.

As for jewelers, I'd love to see them be able to repair old jeweleries that don't cost more than the actual comms to make in the first place! *gripes about about bracelet that was bought for 1800 gold and needs 6000 gold to repair*.

hrm... im confused... we did mention those herb things... there was even a topic about spices i think (or the thread went off topic to becoming about spices). I think it was the one where spices were used as food it should say somewhere there that the herb count doesnt drop so theres a lot of spices.
