Why don't you make an Igasho Serenguard and show yourself and everyone else why no one else is an Igasho Serenguard.

I'm Igasho (I reincarnated into it as well like a complete arse so I can't escape it). The balance and eq loss is just not worth it. And the writhe time = bleh.

I'm Igasho, and I really enjoy the race. The health is great, and I've made a few adjustments to my strategies to try and keep with the low int. I use magical salt instead of invoke circle, for example. I don't need to invoke void or even use magical sulfur, since I can raze shields. The balance isn't noticeable to me because I started as a dwarf and then reincarnated. Dwarves are just overdone and I didn't enjoy the race as much as I'm enjoying Igasho now.

The high strength should counter the low speed in terms of total damage per unit time, but because of how lame warrior damage without runes is, it doesn't.

Actually Gwylifar, because of the way it scales, if they have really really high STR like Igasho, it can still be very painful. It's just Aslaran, because they're a lot more puny than Igasho.

But in testing, I do more damage than Klia in a unit period of time, I have +5 stat runes, but his swords are still higher Damage than mine, and I don't have elemental runes. We're using comparable defs and have comparable skill levels in Knighthood.
I could do the test more exhaustively (use stopwatches, use the same swords, etc.) if we can find some tanky who can take a beating, though. (Which I'd like to do anyway -- I want to know if I do more damage in a unit time with slower more powerful weapons, or faster less powerful ones. Everyone assumes the breakeven point means fast races should use fast weapons, but I suspect you might get better results by choosing weapons which counter your weaknesses, not play to your strengths. Haven't proven it empirically yet.)

I would rather be a Tae'Dae than an Igasho. With balance like that it doesn't make a difference what level slow you are, you're still slow. It's all about DPS and wounds. At least Tae'dae will make better meatshields. Right now, the only damaging races for Serenguard are Dracnari and Elfen Lord.
