Hehe, at the moment, I love Ashy being a druid.
I got to ranked 7th combatant with him actually. Without any curesystem, just with my demesne and my cute little cudgel.
Just stay in the trees, when the opponent comes, shove him dow, cudgel down, opponent comes, shove him down, cudgel him down.
Pretty easy with Treelife, I believe, they are pulled up again every time I shove them down.

If I would fight against a halfway decent fighter, I'd probably lose in a second, but as long as I fight against people who are learning how to fight, like me, it's all good.

Just Treebane, and cudgel/cudgel down. More efficient.

Tried it as soon as I read it against Murphy.
My conclusion:
Not if your opponent has Hexagram. - mutter -

See, that's your problem. Murphy isn't someone who's just learning how to fight. Murphy is a scary bastard with hurty smashy things. *cower*

He asked Ash for a spar, and seeing that Ash's a bit overconfident, he agreed after Murphy promised to use his crappy hammers.
I found myself crucified and infested with worms as soon as that hexagram hit me.
Not nice.

Guess I'll just keep low for a while again.
