Open PK is a broad term Malicia, it basicly says what ever goes as far as player killing goes. Don't be so ignorant It is used in multiple games that are not muds for that very reason, maybe you refer to it as Achaean "open pk" but there are far more games that use it for different scenerios(sp?).

(The one remark I did make was from an IC perspective, although in hindsight I shouldn't have said it and then snubbed you, that was rather childish. Sorry for that, then, I should have picked one or the other.)

And yes, it would be a mistake to do it the reverse way, but using an OOC function (indicating it is essentially the player you're doing it to) based on...well, the player, is hardly a gross error of judgement. Now, if I'd board ignored you because your character was a pain that would have been a mistake, but it works perfectly the other way around.

You know, just pay murphy for gods sake. I make 100-200,000 gold A DAY on astral, 15k is nothing. Or hell, even better, if you play your cards right, show respect to all sides of the battles, and generally just act like your not a threat, almost everyone will generally leave you alone. I influence villages, I stay IN sanctuary the entire time and I normally ask before I influence someone, thats as much as I do and I even have the deceny to respectfully admit defeat or victory after a good debate..so...all i'm saying is...you bring it on yourself. Murphy...Your RP is quite acceptable. Out of 400 people it is very reasonable to find a serial killer, and you RP someone who does kill pretty much ruthlessly, and justl ike RL, their are people who work to stop you, and people who run in fear of you, and people who defend yourself....Its perfectly acceptable RP in my eyes at least to just say "I kill, because it gets me off"...

and hell, If you are RPing someone who's snapped and just on am urdering spree, you can still RP leaving some people alone with ease, Serial killers normally go for a paticular group of people who hurt them, and you identify that group in murphy's psych as being the Serenwilder's...walla.

Is killing for experience RP?

I could RP out killing for experince actually, you just gota word it funny is all, but Stagar is a pacifist, hence Stagar wouldn't. Even so, he had the sense to know early on..I mean before even the first astarl deaths that Astral would one day become bloody, part of his RP is he lived through a food shortage as a child, so he puts two and two together...only so many nodes...eventual shortage of Food (astral mobs) and that the bigger wymrling will take his food...soo, he was smart enough to be very very nice to the bigger wrymlings, show them he's not out to get them...I really recommend it for anyone who does not wish to fight...Just...make yourself unthreatning and submit, we non-combatant hunters aren't meant to look at fighters on a equal level.

I say how much is your experience worth......as in how much would you pay tobe able to bash astral freely? Or how much would you pay for protection?

Don't expect anyone to buy your story. I tried to say that I was clearly in the "right" to kill someone on Astral who was bashing because they often used those corpses to defile shrines... in fact once, they had did it that same day. I got trampled with people telling me this was nothing short of griefing. Ah, how the tables have turned!

Gwylifar, I'm not quite sure of your point or what you're going on about. Murphy's free to do as he wishes and I wouldn't go off on a 'Woe-is-me-guess-this-is-what-I-signed-up-for' tangent. What we're supposed to be appreciating is Tuek's fine work in going up to Astral to avenge a guildmate.
