Paladins only have one instant kill, should we get another one based on some other guildset?
Sorry Shiro, that looks like one sentence to me. You do know that commas don't make two sentences right?
Unknown2005-05-03 22:27:37
oh, that one.. *blushes* erm sorry!
Genos2005-05-03 22:30:10
Heh heh, no problem. Besides, I wish Behead and Bashbrain were more like the other games. Mainly like Cleave or something, if they did that then maybe they could lower Knight's damage some. However, it is a lot harder to have afflictions stick for Knights since their combat is based upon randomness.

Rather amusing that you contradicted your own point by first stating Shadowdancer's offense is inferior to Moondancers, then several posts later you admit their offense both equally sucks and use Tuek and Narsrim as examples of Moondancers that can only kill decent curing people with toadcurse. If I have to 'hide' my stupidity, then you could at least attempt to pick a point and stick with it, instead of contradicting yourself or resorting to insults every few posts just to attempt to prove you're right.
I'm sorry, I forgot you listed shine as an example of a 'useful' Moon ability in another thread. Your objectivity is truly astounding.

Please dude, I beg of you, post anything at all to prove me wrong when I say wicca offense sucks, instead of avoiding the point. I really don't give to craps when I first said moondancer offense sucks less than shadowdancer offense, then said they both suck equally, point in case: THEY SUCK!
And when I'm fighting a bunch of treehugging moon users, and suddenly find out I'm lusted to them all, and have to reject them with a 5 second equilibrium per person to have my skills work on them, forgive me for thinking shine is usefull, because yanno, IT IS.

They need some serious tweaking, cause their offense is far worse than moondancers, and that says a lot, especially cause their defence is far lower as well.

And that's just from this thread alone from you.
And if you want to see Wiccan's offense sucking badly, go look at the post where all Narsrim could do was heal or lash Murphy to no effects. That pretty much sums it up.

Sorry, which of your skills don't work when (EDIT: you're lusted, not they're listed *peer me*)? Empress? What, that's it? Oh, okay.
That's not USEFUL. It's primarily for mages. At maximum it provides a one-minute 5 second immunity to the demesne (and that's assuming that the entire 13 person coven is fighting, which doesn't happen, because we don't have that many fighting Moon users, we have more like 8 MAXIMUM, and that's not even on at any one time.)
Unknown2005-05-03 23:02:14
Sensitivity hex strips deafness. You cannot put deafness back up when it is stripped. You will be paralyzed every round the fae attack. Shadowdancers are superior offensively to Moondancers, they just have to have a bit of intelligence and know how to fight in choke.

And Tuek beats him everytime they fight, both don't give any clear picture, what the hell is your point? Is Murphy king of curing and healing all of a sudden? The man has a lvl2 sipping penalty and a curing that just can't cope with mugwump hexing and waning, next to that, he'll beat nearly everyone else.
Murphy2005-05-03 23:22:57
yeh, my biggest letdown is curing against tuek, I hate being aeoned and it takes me a few second to stop hitting the attack button, I should really reset my attack macroes to check whether or not im in aeon.
I'd like to also mention that I am extremly laggy in all of my fights at the moment, due to a crappy dialup connection, but never fear denizens of thes fine lands my broadband is getting reconnected soon (the lag gets to bad sometimes in the middle of a fight.....its like having aeon anyway)

You seriously expect us to believe that every day, 9 Moon users get together and Shine you? When we can barely find 5 to Resurgem, sometimes?

I love how people think that Shadow Dancers suck when the only person who dies using it so far is Ceres. I've been in alot of fights so far and I've won everyone of them or the enemy has run to safety (except that one time when Narsrim had like6 others with him and all those bloody ents attacking me)
Shadow Dancers are amazing and have alot of potential.
Ceres, who CAN be a decent fighter once shown what to do, still doesn't even know how to use her current skills, which was proven just this afternoon when she made a statement on the guild channel and a few of us laughted to eachother about it. I will also point out, Ceres didn;t think Aquamancers were anygood either and wanted to quit them until she was shown exactly how to use them...then all of a sudden she is known as the best Aquamancer until she left.
So please don't think we suck based off of Ceres fighting.

My entire point was that Moondancer's offense was not any better than Shadowdancers. That has been all I had try to point out, whereas your very first post was claiming their offense is worse. Since you have changed your mind to say that they both equally suck, I feel like I've already said enough regarding this topic.

Moondancers offence is better.
They have lash, which isn't a room-based effect you can walk out of.

Nayl's redcap was stacking ~90-100 bleeding per hit. Whereas yes, I can and did clot this, it takes mana.
The banshee drains mana.
The pixies forces insomnia thus draining mana.
The barghest gives paralyze, which forces focus body thus draining mana
The pooka can be used to force the target to perform an action that drains mana
-------
Banshee = 300 mana drain
Pixie = 100 mana drain
Barghest = 150 mana drain
Pooka = 150 mana drain
Recap = varies but we can assume over 100 mana
Total: ~800-900 mana drain every 10 seconds passively.
Given that Shadowdancers deal relatively decent damage, this does add up quickly.
Drago2005-05-04 07:34:00
Didn't someone say the barghest was stopped by deafness?
Ceres2005-05-04 07:34:48
It is.
