Another thing that would be really great for influencing, is changing empowerment time.
When you empower a denizen the effect lasts for over 12 hours, I believe close to a full day, meaning that the denizen cannot be influenced again until after this time. While this is great for keeping all your guards beefed up ready for a distant attack, it is really irritating because guards are the best targets for influence, and depending on how many we've got summoned at any one time the opportunity they present can be quite limited.
Luckily, there are only a few influencers in Serenwilde that I've seen, so the issue hasn't been too bad yet, but I can see it becoming one. Especially when I go around and influence all that I can find, meaning no-one else can do so until 24 hours later. I know seduction only lasts for a few minutes, and begging certainly doesn't last more than a couple of hours, so is it possible the length of time creatures stay empowered could be throttled back a little? Say, to about 3 hours at most?
Either that or Serenwilde could discover their own influencing area...

Influence should reset just like mobs respawn; I've never waiting hours for an area to repop.

Aye, though I can understand seduction needs its own timer. It wouldn't be great to have hostile loyals wandering around killing your enemies for very long at all.

Why not just make it so they defend you when attacked, and don't attack on their own? Just like most other loyals.

Well, because none of them will follow you... so they're unlikely to see you get attacked.

What would be nice is a new type of Influence attack, "Devotion" which is gotten by people in an Order. The attacks give Karma to the user and Essence to the Divine. Sort of like seduction but towards the divine you serve.

Influencing is Lusternia's unique aspect but it doesn't see much use. An influence victory really should give a small amount of karma.
