Ectoplasm is damn nice, wished it cost at least some powers to use, but meh. Ceres got unlucky with cleanse and wind.

Why do you want ectoplasm to cost power? Are you just determined to nerf every single part of necromancy? There's already way too many skills costing power. If anything, our skills should use a lot LESS power, so we don't have to wait 10 minutes before we can try and repeat a strategy that has 80% of failure.

And ceres had a good opportunity to do cleanse, your cleanse enachant should a) Always be worn and cool.gif you should make cleansing a prioity.

Ecro is a decently long eq, long enough to cleanse....your own fault but ill post my log in colour

It seemed a bit unfair that Ceres wasn't able to get balance back at all with wind + ectoplasm stacking, admittedly she got unlucky with it. If Ectoplasm had used powers, she could have had a chance to get out of crucify since she already started writhing. But at least Necromancers can't complain Sacrifice is impossible to do now.

guess who didn't cure ANY limbs there?? i only had t get one or 2 crucifix breaks, if you had of cured my shrivelling from the hammer, then you would've got off the cross.....

Its your own fault, nothing to do with wind and ecto really. sacrifice is SUPPOSED to be doable, just because you don't have it happen to you much you come along and whine

its not impossible, just improbably against someone who can cure.

And terenas, sacrifice already is a very very difficult 11 power instakill, you wanna give it a 13-14 power cost? cmon, at least inquisition is doable on a regular basis AND strips their rezz defence....and its basically unsurvivable unless you get REAL lucky....

The answer is to upgrade stag and moon for serenguard so its on par with sacraments, not to complain about a very difficult and random instakill, check my log againt revan for an example of what goes wrong on a regular basis

EDIT: and she got BLOODY unlucky, i almost NEVER pull of 3 winds in a row, and can't she spell apply health to gut? that would've fixed it for her.

EDIT 2: Sacrifice is a 4-6 part instakill. 1) get ecto, 2) get them off balance long enough to not writhe in 7 seconds it akes for eq 3) keep them on the cross long enough with shieldstun to brak their limbs, every tick having a random chance of bleeding or breaking 4) Pull off sacrifice.

parts 5 and 6 are sticking scabies and epilepsy on them, because without scabies and ecto you wont keep them up there, nor will you normally get them to stay on the cross for long enough.

Compared to inquisition which is more painful to get hit by if you die, which is pushing a buttong 3 times, or judgement which is just press one button.

And its easier to avoid crucifix than inquisition, cause if you hang around you get the shaft by inquisiiton.

Stag and moon just plain suck for serenguard, upgrade them already

Except... both Revan and Ceres use my system, so it really is a matter of luck, the same goes for nihilist sacrifice, you have to try it over and over untill you get lucky, then you win.

I love how everyone immediately assumes that I'm complaining..

Murphy: Applying health to gut prolongs the window in which your hits to the gut will wind me. I would much rather have vomitblood happen.

Exactly. Serenguard get nothing out of it. Knighthood-things should be downgraded across the board, and then Sacraments/Moon/Stag/Necromancy either made anew for warriors or something else should be used instead of them. It would just be so much better, seriously. Then warriors would have three skillsets instead of knighthood, athletics, like two abilities from a third skillset, and more knighthood. It might fix the problem where warriors have little strategy etc. too.

(I really don't like ectoplasm, but it's acceptable as long as people don't whore it to kill enchantment charges. And I know I can go to Thorgal/Alger if they do. dry.gif Luckily haven't come across anyone that does that yet.)

Well, I've never seen someone whore ectoplasm to kill enchantments so far...but I have seen a lot of people abusing dilute, shieldbash, pooka emptying vials and robbing... excessively.

And except dilute with its lousy 3p, they don't cost any power either.

And if stag and moon still suck later on, it's because of crappy envoy reports.

I can -usually- avoid Murphy's crucify/ecto combo, but that's mostly because it's a simple matter for me to cast the spell and not worry about enchantments. I also happen to keep ecto highlighted and prioritize cleansing. When Murphy does hit me with it, it can be a pain in the ass to get out of it and it takes some time with itching and ecto. No wait... -alot- of time.

Agreed with the ectoplasm bit, many more people abuse dilute and the rest, those skills should just be reworked or thrown out completely, meh.

Regarding envoy reports. It isn't as simple as just wanting to upgrade your archetype and put them in your report. What the envoy, the guild, or invididual members want can differ greatly and thus there has to be compromises that has to be made. Skill suggestions and changes have to be balanced between not completely being useless and not too absurdly powerful. Too weak means it is just another useless ability that will barely ever gets used (Shine for example), too powerful and it will get turned down almost immediately. As much as I want to upgrade both Moon and Stag in my reports, I realized that Hartstone's offensive is very strong at the moment, and Moondancers are very tanky and mobile. Since the Serenguard shares all 3 guild skills with 4 other guilds, we have the most consideration to be made when it comes to requesting what should be looked into and changed.

I could have asked for Stag users to be able to get massive physical damage bonus, but that would do little for Harstone, I could ask for better afflictions, but again, they would make Hartstone even stronger, and most likely be rejected. Moon is pretty decent but the same problem applies for Moondancers, any extremely powerful abilities that may make us stronger, will most likely affect them as well, and if it doesn't do anything for them, then it would appears that the guild only has its own interests in mind and wants to be 'uberly powerful', which will make it even harder to be accepted by the admins.

I've written numerous classlead reports on Achaea and learned quite a bit as to how things work, though Lusternia's admins might think differently. Major changes will most likely never take place, or take a long time to do so. New and unique skills are great, but again, they will be put off in favor of skill fixes and balancing issues. It's not all just, "I want Serenguard to have these abilities to be on par with the other Knight guilds because we suck at the moment," the admins might think very differently from the guild and thus we have to be wary.

You can also come to me if they are doing it, acting so cheaply is rediculous and something I'd expect from a seren. But most of the ur'guard don't act cheaply, and those who do, well they get sorted out quicksmart

Ceres this is firstly why knights need better afflictions, if its actuaally better off for you to let your gut get that low.

And secondly, once I get 2 winds, I usually switch to hammers to minimalize deepwounds and keep winding them to get where I need to.

As it stands, its me and alger who can pull sacrifices off in the ur'guard. As far as I'm aware, no-one else even atempts it.
