Actually, Athana and I were talking over the phone and she asked this question out of the blue. So, flabberghasted as to how to respond, I came to you guys for answers.

I was always taught that males have them as to not feel inferior to females or just to have them.

On a tangent:

I want my tail and gills back, dammit. If I'm going to keep worthless nipples, why not keep those, too? *eye fetus*

You'd have to get the tail chopped off (some people are born with them, my brother was born with 12 digits on his hands and had to have the excess pair removed too) and the gills would just like...get clogged up with dust and crap, it wouldn't be nice.

...and...now you made me see all these people as just like giant seahorse-looking things. Damnit. :/

I always wanted to have more hair, keep the tail, have bigger ears, and the ability to launch feces at others.

I'll be damned if I'll let anyone cut off my former self's tail. I'll travel back in time, bitchslap the doctor (), and abduct myself to the future. In that time, I'll train my younger self to be a 1337 ninja assassin (), then send him back to life a life filled with awesome explosions (), hot women (), and lots of pizza.

And the gills will just be neat. I'll make sure to keep them clean.
