yep i concurr here too.
Size should really have no bearing on writhe or stun either, its really quite bad as rhere is one disadvatage to being small, thats a longer stun, the res t of the time the smaller the better

So you want size to mean .... nothing?
Torak2005-05-11 19:07:39
I like size the way it is...but in alot of cases tumble is far too quick.
Shiri2005-05-11 19:13:20
Believe me, Murphy, for us small races, shieldstun is RIDICULOUS. You can practically keep a Furrikin constantly under shieldstun with no way to stop it, let alone a diminished Faeling. Stun is a hundred times worse than web.
Daevos2005-05-11 19:13:56
I think the point is that size has too much of a effect right now. Especially in the case of tumble. That skill should never be almost instant.
Also the advantages of being large are clearly outweighed by the advantages of being small

actually i tested stun time before difference from size 1 and size 25 was .5 seconds
tumble time size 1 to size 25 was huge
writhe time was huge too
maybe it needs a look

Let's not change size's effect on things.
Okay.
Good one.

It should affect it, just not to such extreme extents.
There's a reason the middle way is called golden.

Erm that was a little irrational of me, I love that size means -something-, Ignore my mind when its out of sleep.
Perhaps instead of it meaning nothing, a couple of writhe/tumble speed caps should be added to smooth it out...
like I said, its all about being small

Yea agreed. It should be about 5 seconds.

You do know that chasm only takes about 6 seconds or so?

Murphy2005-05-12 06:47:09

A little late for that. The change has already been approved. No worries though, I always have tricks up my sleeve.

I think it'd be good to overhaul the entire balance times system and make balance time dependant on a combination of dexterity and size.
