Well, this is a rather weird bug. Everything that can fly, from angels and sprites to brooms, as well as some things that can't, like whirlpools...are.

Uncontrollably.

I wonder if this is that elevation system finally coming in? You know, the ones with rooftops and stuff. *hopehopehope* I remember Roark saying it wasn't going to happen because it would take too much effort, BUT there was that thing he mentioned about burrowing...

Haha all you poor non-faelings . Just out of curiosity, do brooms only fly when they're first summoned, or whenever they're meant to be on the ground? Because otherwise you could always get a faeling/trill to fetch it for you when you summon it *snicker*.

When they're meant to be on the ground, when you call them they go in your inv. But they STILL can't be fetched by a trill/faeling, beacuse no one can pick them up. Not even the owner, in fact, unless they take eq to call them again. Also, if it WAS fetched and dumped on the ground, it'd just fly off again immediately.

Yeah, my pet kept flying everytime I dropped it. Drop, and its above me. I bugged it before I realized it was a worldwide issue.

To get your broom, you could follow someone who could fly into the sky, and in the split second before you fall, mount broom
