Yeah, and it also means that those people that aren't real good with scripts run into trouble. Because when you've almost killed an astral beast, then another walks in and starts carving you up, it's the people WITHOUT scripts that are going to have trouble checking IH and targetting the number while getting hacked apart.

Well, two scripts for zMUD and one for TF have been posted for anyone to use. Seems to me that by and large it's people who don't have a client that can do meaningful scripting that are the ones in trouble, here as in pretty well everywhere else. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Not everyone likes using someone else's coding. I hate it myself, I muddle along with what I can do, and if I can't, I resort to zmud help *loves zmud help*

Even so, you can look at the code and see how it works, get ideas from it. I also pretty well never use someone else's code, but I do use other people's ideas and tips.
But Jeebus was talking about people who can't code, and shared code helps them. I don't think anything can help people who both can't code, and refuse to use other people's code. But I don't think mob targetting is any bigger a problem for them than, say, anything else.
