CODE
Weathersight     Navigate through even the most horrid weather conditions.
AB Weathersight
You will be able to find exits even during blizzards or through banks of fog.
Ok, that's the transcendent skill of environment, rather useless.
Can it please be changed to see through Duststorms as well? Seems perfectly logical and reasonable. How can you see through a blizzard with clear vision and not a duststorm?
Thank you.
Elryn2005-05-13 04:12:06
Agreed, though I've not been hit with duststorm yet.
Athana2005-05-13 05:17:00
I guess it would be cool to see through my own duststorm ...how many people really have trans environment anyways
Shiri2005-05-13 05:19:36
Gosh knows environment has to have SOME use beyond tumble and windtalk. >_<'

Pretty much just me. And I guess you too?
Shiri2005-05-13 05:30:06
Don't forget Geb and Lazul.

I think it would be fun to have walking in a blizzard go in random directions too, unless you have weathersight. Then it is damn nifty, as we wander by and laugh at the poor people lost in the blizzard.
Why? Well, as far as I know, there aren't any areas affected by weather that are remotely mazelike, so getting lost in a snowstorm just isn't much of a problem.
But yes, no reason why we shouldn't be able to see through a duststorm.

Hell, I don't think I've seen a blizzard before. Come to think of it, I think the only snow I've seen is snowballs.
Elryn2005-05-13 05:42:59
No, I've walked through a few blizzards. Even without weathersight I can't imagine they pose much of a hazard if you know where you are going.
Well, except to flyers.

I've been in ONE blizzard.
Yes, one.
That's all.

Nayl2005-05-13 07:56:54
I chased one around for about 3 hours.
Testing my mapper.
That's it. And it was about... hmmm.... Early December?

The northern moutains have snowstorms... thats the only place I've seen.
Amaru2005-05-13 19:09:06
I agree 100% with Tuek on this, but unfortunately it's the sort of small, excellent idea which gets overlooked.
Shamarah2005-05-13 19:26:26
Seems like there's blizzards all the time in Shallach.
Malicia2005-05-14 16:33:10
Good idea, Tuek. It'd make environment worth transing. I hadn't intended to learn past tumbling.

I really, really, really, love this idea.
