It's taken me ages to figure out, but having zMUD's MCP turned on when I QQ blocks the:
bit, meaning that I often miss myself dropping herbs/comms/stuff in my leprechaun. Only worked out just then that if I turn off MCP that I'm able to see the final logout bit. Is there a way to turn off MCP from the prompt, with something like .#MCP OFF', so I can trigger it to 'You grow still and pray', allowing me to see if I drop herbs/etc. Because at the moment I just leave it on, because it's probably some benefit(Know it is, but not a clue what for. )

Yeah, when I log off, it no longer shows your soul etc. What is it?

Mud Compression Protocol sending the logout command in the same packet as 'You feel your insides clench as your soul is frozen.' means that you log out before you see that come, for some reason. Turn it off, and(as far as I saw just then) you get a little laggier, because it's doing something different, but you do get to see the final few lines before the disconnection comes along. S'why I want to have MCP on while I play, but off when I logout, so I know if I've dropped herbs/comms etc, and to see how addicted I am.

I can't see a way to control it from a script. But maybe now that you've identified what's caused that problem, it can be fixed. I bugged it since that started happening right after the latest Rapture upgrade, but I don't think anything could be done without narrowing it down more.

That's exactly when it started happening for me, too.

Come to think of it, me too.

I guess they put the final sentences and the disconnect command closer together, or something, so that they come through in one packet. Silly Rapture.

(That's without any idea what I'm talking about, so I could be waaaay off.)

I was wondering why this was happening to me... I miss the drop messages and soul saved messages afterwards, I just disconnect... it annoys me and I'd rather see them...

You can make it visible again by doing the following:
View --> Preferences --> General: Emulation, and unticking the box labelled 'MUD compression (MCCP)'
However, I believe it puts more strain on Lusternia as a whole, or something(as I have no clue what I'm talking about. ), but you can make it visible with that if you're desperate to see it.

I actually tried that before, it didn't give me the quitting message still. I'll have to try again later.
