I know their leech rate was turned down(or at least I heard it was), but it might need some more lowering.. As it stands, they're nigh unkillable unless you're like level 80+, and not because they hit too hard, but simply because of how much they heal per leech(and how often they leech)
It takes me 6 swings to get one to "staggering", then another 6 to get it to "resounding crack". With a lot of luck I can get 6 swings off before one leeches me.. If it leeches me, it goes back to full health, requiring another 6 swings to get to staggering. I had one all the way up at resounding crack, it leeched me once, and it was back to another 6 bashes to staggering..
If Garshades were made viable, this would be a great astral plane alternative, as the other NPCs aren't that bad.

I can't kill them. I've tried for quite some time. They heal too much for someone with 15 strength and level 2 fast balance to kill (admittedly with low damage weapons, but I still destroy astral).

we already determined that staff is awesome for bashing...you must have missed the conversation about how staff is just about the best base damage vs. mobs there is.

This was right after it opened, when there were the 2500 attacks that are very frequent.
I guess for Knights it might be more of a problem, or for cosmicfirers.

Staff is good because it does a lot of damage per hit, plus crits.. For Knights, our bashing is based on our crits, and without that..
Well.. 14 strength, level 3 balance, flails that are 151 and 140 damage respectively..
