While I see the point of doing this by reflex, I have to say I'm against it. Fighting is so spammy as it is. If I say something during a fight, on the remote chance it's seen, I don't want it to be ignored because other people are saying stock phrases in parrot-like repetition.

Spam is one of the most ooc things I've ever heard of or seen. So, it doesn't really bother me.
Plus, I'm planning on having about 30 or so triggers, that go off randomly, sometimes. And I have that taunt button that I might hit every once in a while too.

Right, what I mean is, if everyone people have robotic conversations every four lines, and I actually try to say something for RP purposes, everyone will have tuned out and miss it. Those cutesy triggered talking things are only amusing once, if even that much, and after that, everyone tunes them out, and everything else like them.

I remember a guy called Lok used to flash the victory sign after everything he killed. He had it triggered. So he'd stand at pool killing rats and everytime he'd flash it. He looked so stupid.
