Anyone wish to pull it up for our friends who are not around? It is rather interesting now, we know all the powers. Along with a couple we didn't learn of. And even more from bonding to a True God?

Comments? Thoughts?

6.19.1 TITANS, DEMIGODS AND AVATARS

The highest two levels of experience confer the transformation of a mortal
into a Titan (level 99) and Demigod (level 100).

TITANS
------
Titans are mortals whose spirits can barely be contained within their fleshly
bodies. Reaching towards divinity, Titans gain several notable powers,
including:

- Increased statistics.
- The ability to adjust their size at whim, from very tiny to gargantuan.
- Regenerate faster on non-prime planes.
- The ability to refresh their power once per day.
- The fierce thunderclap attack.

DEMIGODS
--------

Demigods are mortals who by sheer will and determination have fanned their
divine spark into full-fledged divinity. Demigods are not, nor can ever
become, full gods, but they gather essence instead of experience, which can be
used for several divine powers. Demigods receive the same powers as do Titans,
as well as some of other powers, which may cost their personal essence to use.
These include:

- Increased statistics beyond even Titan.
- The ability to refresh their health, mana and ego once per day.
- Limited ability to call divine fire around themselves for protection.
- Travel powers to the Divine Havens (where no mortals may pass).
- Increased range to the dread Thunderclap attack.
- Divine resurrection on themselves (a.k.a. the phoenix power).
NOTE: This is an automatic power that drains considerable essence on the
demigod. If the demigod ever dies and does not have enough essence to
trigger the resurrection, the demigod will be stripped of divinity and
become mortal again.

AVATARS
-------
The true potential might of a demigod will not be fully made manifest unless
that demigod is in the order of a true god and that god decides to form a bond
with the demigod, in which case the demigod becomes their Avatar (sometimes
referred to as their Herald), gaining more powers on behalf of the divine
order of their patron god. This is not a bond that a true god will lightly
undertake, as the essence cost to that god is staggering and represents a deep
link between the essence of god and demigod. Avatars are expected to be
walking representations of their patron god and often act as their voice. The
powers of Avatars are not known to mortals.

...
I hate to see what this game will turn in to when we get a dozen or so titans, demigods and avatars tongue.gif.
Shiri2005-05-17 23:28:23
Which will happen a ****load quicker than on other games because of Astral.

It's going to turn nasty FAST. All it takes is for Murphy to get titan, 4k attacks everyone and doubleswipe-stuns anyone who survives that, and combat is permanently screwed up. :/

Please Nerf. Please. Please. Please.
Sylphas2005-05-17 23:35:20
Didn't I hear somewhere that Titans weren't supposed to be as overpowered as Dragons? Was that just bs?
Richter2005-05-17 23:46:43
Niiiice.
Murphy2005-05-17 23:51:58

Murphy gets 2-3 titans ready, with the champ helm.

rescues them one after another into a room full of serens...and they clap and i rescue back in

Or that. And now certain Ur'Guard, COUGHYOUKNOWWHOYOUARECOUGH, are attacking random Seren on the Astral because "they're a threat of getting titan." dry.gif

You have to be at least a bit happy they have a reason, though.

Also, dying on astral is like nothing. I only noticed a 1% drop the last time I died, which is about 25 kills to get back. Not overly bad at all.

Although, as a Guardian archtype, that is quite horrible to bash back.

You say that, but no one cares when Serens attack Magnagorans off the prime because...Oh wait! They didn't have a reason! They were just like "lets go kill someone! Who's on earth right now?"

Shiri2005-05-18 00:01:34
Can't remember when that happened.

Also, Olan, no idea why you're criticising after you killed two Moondancers barely out of novicehood for bashing in Balach. (One of them didn't even get suspect because she died of a crushed chest or something.)

I wonder that too...

None. She'd just phoenix. Perhaps?

Or escape to the Divine Havens?

Or maybe just call Divine Fire?
Athana2005-05-18 00:30:59
