Upgrades for already strong guilds and downgrades for weak ones.

Nihilists aren't a weak guild, but they're definitely not as strong as Celestines.

Nihilists are a weak guild. Their best bet defensively was putrefaction, and if you want to count Lichdom.

Their offense is Soulless.

Celestines excel in both offense and defense.

Moondancers excel in defense, and their offense is toadcurse.

Trans Jewelers can transfix.... well they have the skill. wether it works or not is a different story

Celestines are stronger and still get upgrades while Nihilists get nerfed. All of Nihilists skills are either useless or just the worse version of theirs.
I just don't get it.

Even the Leech skill got nerfed for Nihilists while making Celestines more able to pull off an Absolve... sometimes I just wonder.

I stopped wondering.

Celestians were the best overall class when I started playing by unanimous vote, six months ago.

I wouldn't say leech got nerfed or that Amissio got upgraded, they both got changed so that they were more like their original purpose and not so much carbon copies of each other. Either way it doesn't really affect the Nihilists vs Celestines since Nihilists have both abilities, not just leech.

I used to use leech to avoid being absolved/toad cursed, but that was only after I started using sucky races Trill narrowly beats out elfen magnagoran.

This _second_ putre downgrade is simply absurd, no matter who concocted the idea. I die in 42 seconds from it alone from 4500h, and at it drains well over 1000 every 7 seconds when I surge for 6300-6900. Ridiculous as well as an obvious and unexcusable bias against magnagorans. 'nuff said.

It is not biased against Magnagora, only envoy's of the necromancy skillset can change Putre.

I think it is interesting to note, that I believe the Celestines are the first class in IRE history that is able to stack three levels of writhing. Web, Hangedman, Transfix. Hmmm.. wait, perhaps Hunters/Sentinels? Was noose trap a separate form of entanglement? Though neither their Noose Trap nor Butterfly was an active effect.
