Perhaps your not getting straight answers because it took you about 2-3 hours to actually REPORT something you thought was a bug, but it took you no time at all to start complaining(without even saying what you think might be a bug) and screaming at Me?

Perhaps your skills got tweaked down because you were alittle over the top? Evident by your easy at "steamrolling over everyone." Yes, you do try hard, and work hard. But there are others out there with other skills that try just as hard(be it not as many as there are in Magnagora), and they can't seem to get to the level you are at. You all seem to lack on to one downgrade and not see that some of your offensive abilities, such as wrack and sacrifice, just got alot easier to pull off.

That's ridiculous. I've heard this argument that Magnagora is simply better and stronger and it has nothing to do with the skills - I don't buy that. It doesn't wash. You have some great players, fine, but there is no way that your city has, statistically, better players than any other. It's bull. That admins are balancing the game, get over it.

Quidgyboo, I didn't say we were better, I said we try really hard.
All I see from the other cities are people huddling at the pool and the mother tree, except for a few individuals that actually go out and do something.
Maybe the reason we're such a high level is because we actually take the time to bash?
And as the abilities such as wrack and sacrifice being easier to pull off, I guess we'll have to test it first, I know there is a lot of potential with the new herb/pipe balance changes, I have yet to put it into practice.
And look Hajamin, I did say in another thread that I was grateful, and thankful, but these changes, that have no explanation but "YOUR envoy asked us to do this, asked us to do that" wouldn't look like anything but extra nerf-age for our skills, unless we're told why it was deemed necessary to downgrade such things. Maybe that should be the new thing, you downgrade something, post about why you think it's a good idea, I don't know, but at least that way you'll get feedback and ideas instead of whiny threads.

There will always be whiny threads, we all know that. The fact that, as you just admited, you all have complained that you are getting nothing but downgrades without even testing other changes just proves the points made above this post.

You mean changes made to our skillset? Like putrefaction, and crucify?

I don't think Putrefaction needed any more testing to know that it was definitely a downgrade, granted it's not as bad as it was earlier, and for that, thank you.
And I know you can't post every reason for a downgrade/upgrade, some things must'nt be said after all, but if it doesn't hurt, why not?

Quidgyboo - statistically? you want numbers... when magnagora and serenwilde have a little skirmish... scenario is usually 1:3 (magnagora:serenwilde). The following are also the usual numbers. Out of those 3, 0-1 of those serens has a higher might than that 1 magnagoran. Out of those 3, 0-1 has a higher level than that 1 magnagoran. Out of those 3, 0-1 of them have artifacts. Out of those 3, 0-1 of them has made their own system. Out of those 3, 0-1 of them will actually be willing to take that 1 magnagoran alone. The imbalance of Magnagora and the other cities is not in the skills... its not that we have better players either. Its just that we have more fighters who are worth their salt. If Celest had 10 more Amarus and 10 more Gebs, they'd kick Magnagora and Seren even if they teamed up. If Seren had 2 more tueks 2 more malicias 2 more narsrims 2 more icarus' 2 more terenas' chances are we wont even have 1 village.

also quidgyboo before you go becoming all self-righteous about disrespect and threats to leave and how its silly and annoying... maybe you'd like to consider that there were no threats to leave in the first place and that the so-called "whinging" might have some basis to it.

Me talking about people leaving, was a simple statement of what was happening today. Its not really possible to make threats about such things because i dont think any of us think that youd actualy care if we stayed or not. Magnagora has lost a lot of players because of such things and everytime one goes... who the hell likes seeing their friends go?

Tuek, the bug/update is not something that should be mentioned on forums, due to its nature and the fact it could be abused while it is getting fixed (if it is a big).

You where not the first person to mention it. Two others came into IRC screaming bloody murder about it, and never said what it was(even in a PM) and then it took, how many hours, before Eiru reported the bug?

I got told about that bug by Alger - and even then he didn't just tell me about it I had to waste 30p to do it. But since he told me about it, I figured it must have already been reported already, otherwise it would have come to you.

I didn't bug it at once because Alger told me that he issued it, and talked to you about it, and he still didn't know if it was a bug or not.
After I asked him again what the verdict was a couple of hours later, and he still didn't know, I decided to bug it.

Might be because bugs go into BUGS and not ISSUES. I don't check Issues nearly as often as I do bugs, expectially when new things go in.

Anyway I'm glad it's a bug, if some of us overreacted, maybe it's because bad things have been happening to us lately and that definitely would've been the worst change of all.

Its obvious this isn't the divines intention, and stop accusing them because it not only pissed me off, but i'm sure it pissed them off too.

Not only that but I'm sure we can get by without the accusations and antagonizing of each other and the admins.....FFS honestly, if you're upset, piss and moan to me in game privately, and I'll take all the notes and post on envoys, doing it publically and getting pissy about with won't solve anything, and will just piss the admin off
