Yes, but now request for Stagform to be changed back: +1 dex, +cont... +strength?
Sylphas2005-05-21 21:11:47
Last time I suggested that, it was thought to be too overpowered for Serenguard. I'm gonna keep on Gregori though, until he at least suggests it. It'll be up to the Admin whether it's overpowered or not, I don't think it would be.
Also, face paints not working with greatrobes? Are you INSANE? Hartstone are strong, granted, but we would really like a second skillset that's not crippled for us. Especially since Stag is for Hartstone first, Serenguard second. We can't pick anything else, and Stag is deeply part of our RP and history.

Actually I would rather we got rid of the +1 dex, and got a +1 con, The regeneration is nice, and Stagarau was good to when we had it, but unless Stagform is hiding it's physical protection somewhere, all we have is Barkskin
Terenas and I will have to sit down and see how many cookies we need to mail the Furies for the next envoy report.

Why in the world would I request for + con or + strength again when it didn't go through even though it was requested in the last report?
Desdemona2005-05-21 23:00:01
Keep insisting.
Get along with Gregori, and submitt the same exact suggestion for a Stagform change? *shrug* So, another change with Stagform is a lost cause?

Stagform needs something. It's nice that it reduces costs on abilities, but that simply makes them actually usable. +1 dex is worthless, and my headbutt does as much as my Gore.
Gregori2005-05-21 23:08:36
Problem with shared skillsets is, the main guild that uses it as a secondary gets screwed because they balance it for the guild that uses it as a tertiary (or at least it appears that way). So they remove the con from Stagform because it made Serenguard to tanky, yet they weaken Hartstone in the process. Like when Stag Aura was removed, not sure the reasoning on why it was removed, but it went out the same time similar skills that gace warrior types to much defense, but again it stripped the defense of the guild that uses Stag as a main skill. Maybe what Hartstone needs is a skill in Druidry called Treant Skin, where you get a 50% damage reduction to all damage types, but if you leave it up to long you will eventually turn into a shrub...
Sylphas2005-05-21 23:23:36
Or just put skills in Stag that only function for Serenguard/Hartstone. If you don't have druidry/knighthood, you don't get the skill, like happens with Pathtwist, or the Moon only fae.
Terenas2005-05-21 23:42:37
Hmm, it would be interesting to get a benefit that only Hartstone gets from Stagform and another that Serenguard gets, just like how Moon Aura is only for Serenguard but not Wiccans. Perhaps a +1 strength for Serenguard, +1 con for Hartstone?
Gregori2005-05-21 23:44:56
That could work. Would still like to see it either mentioned by a Divine if Stagform does have damage reduction, and if not if we can get damage reduction on it. Even a 10% reduction would be nice.

Moon aura is in fact for Wiccans too. My dagger is shiny right now.
Desdemona2005-05-22 00:07:20
Could you make my axes shiny?
Elryn2005-05-22 00:09:19
How about Stagform giving physical protection equal to (2 x DEX)%?

Only while wielding them.

Yeah, but how useful is it for you?

I think if I suggested that, it would end up like this.
Me -> <- Roark

Nuts!

Not in the slightest. But the point is that the skill is identical, it doesn't vary from Moondancers to Wiccans, unlike the Stag thing you're suggesting. And yes, I know Sylvans in Achaea had different elementalism to Magi, but the Drawdown thing demonstrates that they don't want this to happen in Lusternia.
Terenas2005-05-22 00:48:51
Right, but they specifically changed it to give Night and Moon knights an extra edge, I'd consider this an upgrade exclusively to Ebonguards and Serenguards, not to all Moon or Night users. It will be a bit harder to request something for Stagform that will only help Serenguard, but not Hartstone as much, and vice versa. Or we could just ask Stagform gives separate bonuses depending on archetype like suggested earlier.
Sylphas2005-05-22 01:06:30
Just giving DEX% protection would be great, and fits the theme of Stag very well.
