Notice the part I bolded.. Being self-proclaimed doesn't mean you -are- the smartest. It means you think you are. I could self-proclaim myself as the toughest Faeling in Lusternia, doesn't mean the admins will give me +15 to all my stats to prove it.

Merian can't be that bad. Level 2 faster eq for the moon abilities after that one face paint and I've seen many logs of you moonbursting people to death after getting them afflicted.

The point though is that merian is among the majority of races that can be good in the right situations, while there's 3-4 races that aren't good anywhere for anything.

Only way it's possible to get a level 2 eq moonburst is if I was a Mugwump.

Not to mention that Lightning gives you -1 balance, which isn't good for a knight. Why make your main abilities slower so your third skillset is a bit better?

definately add humans to the bastardized races, since we all know that there's not a ghost of a chance of them getting specializations, and very highly unlikely that they'll get upgrades.

If you wanna be a super basher, the experience boost helps I guess. And it's not like they have majorly crappy intelligence/const. Just inadequate

actually, humans can only do one thing well. warrior power basher. the 12 strength is pretty crappy, but at least they don't have slower balance, but their real strength will come from their 12 int surge
