Oh, right, whoops.

Malicia, Tuek, Veonira.
Silvanus2005-05-22 05:39:43
Veonira was replaced by Karrah, Veonira then replaced Karrah.

So whoops again.

Veonira is still the first Geo Admin, even though she had a small break in between.

Such as the time he was caught "educating" a Celestine novice on Celestia?

First of all, the image Galvadore projects for Celest shouldn't include his personal life. Who Galvadore chooses to sleep/mess/bed with is really no one's business. If his personal life does not cloud his judgement for the better interest of Celest, his personal life should remain out of any current conversation that happens to cover the gossiper's ears.

That irritates me to hell and back. If Llexyn decided to bed with someone who wasn't her husband, does it project badly on the Geomancers or Magnagora? No, it doesn't. At best, people would just enjoy the string of rumours that would spawn from the instance of such a thing happening.

Really, that's just a petty comment to make about any person. sad.gif
Shiri2005-05-22 06:19:51
I think Yrael said it more in the interests of humour than anything, not a serious (and petty) comment. Besides, if it's so easy to poke fun at the leadership, it's easy to turn them and by extension the guild into a joke.

Note I'm not saying that's how it SHOULD be.
Silvanus2005-05-22 06:38:31
Welllllllllllllll the story goes something like this.

An annoying Dwarf and a stupid Cow were going ot visit to Raziela and walk right by Galvadore and the young Celestian. The annoying dwarf did not see anything, but the stupid Cow took full noticed, and they went back to spy on Galvadore and the young Celestian. TO put it in clever words to stray young children away, the young novice was skilled in the art of speaking.

Wow. Your opinion of me sinks lower and lower every day. I'm not THAT petty, and yes, I was just poking fun at Galvadore.

Nah, you're just a butthead sometimes. If I really hated you, you'd be on my ignore list indefinitely. harhar1.gif

Sounds like the Bill Clinton situation. He didn't break any laws, and it might not have changed how he ran the country, but the idea was "if he's going to lie and cheat on the person he loves the most, how the hell is he going to be straight with the rest of us?".
Unknown2005-05-22 09:23:59
Let's just hope you don't end up with the equivalent replacement, then.
Unknown2005-05-22 09:50:36
Actually, I find Silvanus' recollection quite amusing while getting the basic story right. *sparkle* As for the Clinton similarities.. not -quite- there...There was no lying or cheating.

I appreciate Llexyn standing up for me. wink.gif Everyone's private life should be just that. Sorry I can't afford a manse and that Celestia has a really sweet garden for taking a hot date on.

In any case, ya.. all that stuff has nothing to do with how my character views or deals with responsibilities to city or guild. I never ran just for the lofty position. Just thought it was time for change, and nobody else seemed to want to step up. Really, it's just going to be a lot of work and I hope I can make things a little better. Celest has had a really hard time from day one, and has enjoyed little success and suffered a lot. Once that kind of atmosphere sets in, new players don't want to be part of that, and things only spiral downward.

I think that the image of any city or commune isn't dictated entirely by who runs it, nor are all the faults of an organization due to poor leadership alone, but a leader should set a tone and a pace and example, and I hope I can breathe a little life into things and get the city organized a bit better.
And still have a hot date once in a while tongue.gif I'm only mortal, after all.

I would have laughed if everyone had voted Aebrin as a joke and you got stuck with him tongue.gif
Unknown2005-05-22 12:24:04
Just curious, what was the final vote count? How many votes did Rhysus/Galvadore/Aebrin have?
