I tried that, but it was taking too long Every knight in the game uses strike person area, there's no slashes or swiping. I'm going to try and make a system that uses the untargetted types mostly.

Am pretty sure that most if not all of the striking messages have a "you" or "your" in it. So I cheated and added a $me (variable) instead. Any "you" or "your" word sets the variable $me to 1, and the prompt resets $me to 0. (Just to note, I'm not using zMud) For example:

With a focused look, Marsu strikes at you with a tae'dae bearclaw flail. Your
left leg is elegantly striked and swept out from under you, knocking you to the
ground.

With a focused look, Tharruk strikes at you with a crimson double-chained
taurian flail. Your right leg is elegantly striked and swept out from under
you, knocking you to the ground.

The knockdown affliction is only recorded if you get hit. (*Am pretty sure that this only works if you are _not_ a knight.)

Mmm no. I think you're more paranoid about me being paranoid than I actually am. Believe it or not, I was learning to fight just so I _wouldn't_ have to fight Stupid as the idea sounds... Lack of time and energy thanks to work is "solving" that problem anyway.

So does the blademaster knockdown affliction come on strikes only or slashes as well? And does that include an affliction? I don't see it in ab blademaster.
