Visaeris finished it, it seems. First one. Some little novice was following him about, so I guess he helped? Har.

Well, no offense to Visaeris, but I was keeping an eye on him doing the quest to make sure it wasn't buggy, and he completed through trial and error guess work rather than knowing with 100% certainty what the solution was, which means he ended up losing more xp than he gained. I should note that for any of the honour quests that require figuring out logic puzzles or deduction (Stewartsville murder mystery, Estelbar tae'dae day care, Delport love quest, Shanthmark lodge quest), making guesses really is the worst way to figure it out and in most cases will have a negative xp penalty. In all of them, there's a way to know without a shadow of a doubt what the solution is.

Yeah, I fully admit that it was guess work. There's something staring me in the face that would help but I'm just not seeing it. I'll probably play with it s'more when it resets.. A different set of ghosts will provide more data, so maybe I can figure out that final bit!

Perhaps it shouldn't be possible for the honors quests to be completed by the same person twice in a row? I've tried to do some of them only to have someone who's already figured them out before rush through as I sit there thinking and solve it before I can get my attempts off the ground. I'm considering just killing anyone who shows up and interferes with my matchmaking or whatever

Yes. It's ANNOYING.

Every time I've tried to do the Estelbar quest, someone's done that. Or they stood there giving me hints as I asked them not to, until I finally left. That's why I've never done any of them.

(Though if the Grey Moors is one, I've done most of one, just one gear short and completely, utterly stuck on it. But that's for RP.)

Yeah, if I'm 'whoring' a quest, and someone else comes by who hasn't done it before (or if they are a commune member and I just did the quest a few hours before), I immediately stop and let them do it. Unless they're a guild/commune enemy >_>

Or what's more annoying is when I've got my timing down to do 3-4 honors quests in a flat-out run, making easily 20k a round (round being 3 hours), and then someone's standing there "omg no i got teh hammer, gimme everytimg, i wnat teh honorz lines. ps, how od i odb dis questz?" >.<
