They stacked 5 locusts? That really seems like a bug.

They arent infused
Sylphas2005-05-28 04:24:54
Elryn's log in idiots shows two locusts attacking, and uninfused elementals don't attack.
And regardless of anything else, why the hell do you have 5 uninfused elementals sitting around?

Actually they do attack...
Sylphas2005-05-28 05:55:34
Since when? I distinctly remember fighting Alger in the middle of trying to make a damn elemental move where I wanted him to, and he stood like a lump until I got him infused.
Shorlen2005-05-28 05:57:12
Large locusts break through the earth and swarm around (?name?), devouring
(?his?) flesh.
That is the message when the locasts attack. Something here is obviously wrong. *shrugs*

The locusts attack without being infused... dunno why...
Unknown2005-05-28 06:56:28
its called a bug.. and abuse, in the case of you using them un-infused.
Unknown2005-05-28 09:23:01
Yes, multiple elementals attacking in the same room is a bug, and is ABUSING the said bug. Move the guards before the administration just deletes them, costing you gold/power.
Estarra2005-05-28 12:36:45
Regarding elementals, it is a bug if multiple elementals are INFUSED in the same room and are making multiple attacks. Please let us know what room this is in.
If they aren't infused, I don't have a problem if you use multiple elementals as regular guards (i.e., not infused). I will say, however, it is not very wise to do so, because un-infused elementals are easy to kill and even the greater ones do significantly less damage than the lesser guards that other archetypes call. Personally, if I saw my enemy using elementals as regular guards, it'd be an attractive target as easy kills that cost them a chunk of gold and power. I'm not sure why anyone wouldn't infuse elementals and reinforce with the other guard types.

Because they web. I didn't realize they were supposed to attack while uninfused.
Shamarah2005-05-28 14:25:30
Bah... water elementals only freeze
Elryn2005-05-28 14:41:44
Isn't that even better, since it stacks?

No, they web. Water up around your legs freezes, and you have to writhe out. Trust me, the one at the Pool on Water does it to me all the damn time when I'm heading for the leeches.
Athana2005-05-28 14:45:55
Yeah, I can attest for that as well.
Unknown2005-05-28 14:47:45
Same here.
Shamarah2005-05-28 15:50:00
Really? Huh, I always thought they froze, oh well, that's neat to know.
