Winter does sod all for anyone, so we'll pretend he didn't say that.

Two.

I am not comparing guild skills to public skills, I am comparing arguments about skills to eachother.

You said that attacks are always based on the Attribute associated with it, I proved to you that that is not true.

Putrefaction again, I was not taling about the skill but rather the argument about why people would ask for it to be changed.

Listen to your own advice and try reading.

Spring? Is a def stripping ability.
Winter? Is an affliction.
Violet? Does damage.

How any def stripping abilities rely on int? None.
How many afflictions rely on int? None.
How many damage attacks, with a magical source, rely on int? All of them.

How many physical attacks rely on Strength? the answer up untill Blacktalon came out was 0.

Obviously exceptions are made when they are needed.
Athana2005-05-28 00:54:49
Oh, my sweet Jeebus...I quit.
Ixchilgal2005-05-28 00:56:49
Again, there's nothing wrong with Violet. It does plenty of damage, and counters -several- skills. So what if it's the only direct attack skill to hit Dreamweavers? It counters not one, not two, but three, yes -three- other guild skills.

Violet is already useful enough.
Ixchilgal2005-05-28 00:59:58
In fact, let's -nerf- Violet! It's far too useful, being that it completely negates the use of three individual guild skills, and an entire skillset.

Down with Violet! Down with Kether!

Wtf? Apart from the entire Knighthood/Blademaster/Bonecrusher skillset, gore, barge, and so forth, would this be? mellow.gif

Whoah there, that's taking it too far, it was upgraded for a reason. tongue.gif (Y'hear that Daganev? UPGRADED for a reason. UPGRADED.)
Sylphas2005-05-28 01:02:35
Cudgel is magical source, physical type. Source is what counts for determining the damage, type determines what stops that damage.

So cudgel uses int.
Unknown2005-05-28 01:02:36
Yes, what the hell is he referring too?

...that relies on INT. huh.gif At least, I'm 99% sure of it.
Sylphas2005-05-28 01:03:31
I hereby label Daganev a "forum griefer". One who's purpose is to screw with us until we give up and quit, leaving him alone to savour his ill gotten victory.
Daganev2005-05-28 01:04:40
er in my rage I left out the negetive word. But I'm sure you knew that. Your arguments are all attacking me and not my ideas anways.

edit: If I remember correctly the upgrades to Violet where to who they attacked not how it attacked.
Shamarah2005-05-28 01:05:38
Shiri, just close this topic, it's a personal attack on Lady Logic.
Sylphas2005-05-28 01:06:03
Did you even freaking read that? Cudgel is a magical attack. It relies on int. Sceptres increase it's damage.
