Okay, so I left Serenwilde because I have always been fascinated by Night and with Glomdoring, I also thought it would be fun to be considered evil and tainted. Well, Glomdoring, regardless of what is happening is hounded day in and day out, bringing everyone in the Commune to the edge. I am about an inch away from giving up. Then, I have people saying that I should go back to Serenwilde, have Jasper be back with his family and friends and what-not. And I am unsure of if should.
I just opened this to see what people think if they were put in this situation and what they think I should do. I will not base any actions IC upon this, simply, gives me something to think about.

I think you're kind of screwed with trying to go back now, especially after being admin. :/
Unknown2005-05-30 04:25:08
I think it would be cool to have a dark, crazy albion-oriented Moondancer too many bouncy Luna types around!
Unknown2005-05-30 04:25:25
I think you would have a hard time getting back in to Serenwilde. I also think that if you stick it out in Glomdoring you will be very proud of yourself in the months to come when you guys start to gain some ground.
It's hard now but look at is a test of Character, and don't forget to take breaks for yourself, both IC and OOC.

Anything can be roleplayed. There are plenty who would see Jasper saved from the taint and night and restore him to Serenwilde, I think. Really, it's all up to what direction you want to take your character in. It sure wouldn't be -easy- to go back to Serenwilde, but not impossible.
Shiri2005-05-30 04:34:50
Oh, and another point. Glomdoring needs their un-sucky people right now. Don't make the situation for them even worse. :/
Elryn2005-05-30 04:50:14
I am going to be utterly selfish and say you should definitely return to Serenwilde.
But really, do whatever you are going to enjoy most in the long-term.

As an Amdin, you could really shape up the Shadowdancers so you should take the opportunity to take the heat and stay. Also, if you are fascinated with Night and Glomdoring, that should be reason enough for you to want to stay in Glomdoring, imo.
By the way, if you feel Glomdoring is hounded day and night by enemies, you could always try and make a stronger alliance with Magnagora? I don't know, if Serenwilde applied the "ally with anyone if it suits us until it suits us" card, Glomdoring obviously can play it.

Stay in Glomdoring, the Serenwilde is slacking off and getting beaten back more and more easily each day. Soon they will be offering us treaties to save their own arses, just give it a little more time.
Shiri2005-05-30 05:14:19
I'm finding the reverse, oddly enough.
Unknown2005-05-30 05:16:36
All is usually quiet when I'm online, 'cept for weekends *shrug*.
Malicia2005-05-30 05:17:46
That's a laugh.
I'd say, come back...although it won't be the same. It's never the same when you leave an organization to join the enemy, only to return. Some might not be able to look at you the same while others will just be happy that you've come to your senses. I do agree that if you remain during the hardest of times, it will stand out more in the long run. Did you expect it to be easy? I think Glom just wants too much and too fast. SW and Glom are pitched against each other whether we like it or not and Desdemona, the Mags -have- been helping them. It's the only reason they've won a few battles on Ethereal, although Ethelon makes it sound as if it were a sole Glom-effort.

Glomdoring will get it together eventually.
Probably when we actually are allowed to have elections instead of being "ruled" by appointed puppets of a Goddess who has a policy of ignoring us/getting angry when we ask questions.

We're just starting to get somewhere, don't leave now *grab*
Nyla2005-05-30 06:26:12
You cant leave damnit... Richter and I cant go crazy alone.
Daganev2005-05-30 07:00:00
leaving would just be sad.
But if the leadership can't handle stress then theres no point in being a leader.
Go with what you want to play.

Stay.
Shamarah2005-05-30 11:05:48
If I go it will be trouble!
If I stay it will be double!
So, come on and let me know...
Should I stay or should I go?
*cough*
Stay in Glomdoring, it really does need you. It doesn't have many good people right now.

Knowing the ability of people to seperate ooc from ic, you're kind of screwed now whether you stay or leave.
