ok, I suppose I'll just keep trying , not being an envoy I assume you mean in general , most envoys use it but not restricted to.

Tuek was a Nihilist with Hexes on the test server. I remember killing Marcalo. Good times.

How about you leave the test server alone? Really, it's not meant for general use, Roark just asks a couple of people log on to *test things* every once in a while.
Dysolis2006-06-27 21:09:30
don't get all pissy, I asked if it was for general purposes or not , please read above.
Sylphas2006-06-27 21:11:42
I creamed Malicia with Fury, then became a Blademaster who had sword-maces.
Riv2006-06-27 21:14:33
It's generally only open when Roark specifically opens it to test things.
Roark2006-06-29 00:08:50
The "test server" is not really a test server in the normal sense of the words. It's my custom built personal Linux machine sitting in my home office next to my Mac Mini on a DSL line where my Lusternian coding takes place. If there's something I need players to try out, I open a virtual server hole in the wireless route® firewall. Usually it is not open because open ports are a Bad Thing for Internet security.

When he needs testing, he opens up his own box for us to play on. He doesn't leave it up because he doesn't want hacked.
Jack2006-06-29 05:10:37
Yeah, that's still not simple enough. Try it in words of one syllable?

Roark does not like you. Stay 'way from test place. Thanks.
(It's not exactly accurate, but it's all one syllable!)
Jack2006-06-29 05:32:19
Dude, have you read this thread? I've been on the test server before. Me and Roark, we go way back. We tight.
Verithrax2006-06-29 07:31:34
Running a copy of Lusternia from your desktop Linux box. That's just cool.
Maybe I could try it?

Now only if that had been placed into Dysolis's mind beforehand he wouldn't have necro'ed this...
To bad common sense isn't contagious.
Shiri2006-06-29 09:56:50
Gah, I didn't even notice. Dysolis!
Jack2006-06-29 09:58:07
I'll tell you what is contagious.
AIDs.
And if you make another borderline-incomprehensible remark like "to bad common sense isn't contagious", I'm going to find someone HIV positive, cut them, collect the blood and then inject you with it.

wha...?
Jack2006-06-29 10:25:18
There's no logic. There's no reason to it. There is only...
AIDS.
AIDS.
