The character can be at times, yes. But the player isn't really, by nature.
If people would stop being so bitchy in their replies, we wouldn't have to listen to his sad attempts at picking on others

Right. The point is, you're pushing for a change that won't affect you eventually. An unecessary change. It makes no sense. Since your character joined Glomdoring, you've been hardcore about getting wisp downgraded because you refuse to find a way around it. Whining isn't the only way to deal with things. Gods.

I've acknowledge at several places in this thread, such as the title of the thread, that we have ways around it. If wisp isn't changed, Glomdoring will continue to team up with Magnagora because it's required for victory and will be for quite awhile barring change. I'm fine teaming up with Magnagora. If you would think things through, you would agree with me on this because it would remove the advantage of Glomdoring fighting alongside Magnagora. But, insulting me is obviously more important.
I may whine and bitch, but I actually get things changed too, because I make real arguments and am right now and then. But hey, have it your way, and I'll be seeing you with Daevos and the Juggalos at the next village you lose by a very wide margin

Honestly. After Magnagora's two latest stunts (Rockholm and Estelbar), I find it hard to comprehend why the two forests aren't working together now to bring down Mag.

Reason 1) Visaeris
Reason 2) Jelapuddin
Reason 3) Our Patron's won't let us.
Clear those up and I'm all for it.

How would it profit Glomdoring to kick the sugar daddy out and go up against it? That's even if we could all get over the Ethereal forces bent on pitting us against each other forever.
Glomdoring is supposed to be Serenwilde's foil, and vice versa. What we need is to get Magnagora to remember what they used to do before they sat around saying "Damn Serentards!" like John Cleese in that Monty Python sketch about the commies.

ACTUALLY! the only thing stopping a Seren/Glom alliance is Serenwilde's feeling bound by some amorphious RP. Seriously, Glomdoring has extended the prospect so many times it hurts.
So to correct Cron, the answer is Elyrn (on these forums) and Gregori (with support of all those who vote for him) The other part is the fact that Magnagora is not working with Glomdoring, A few and by a few I mean 1 person is working with Magnagora and somehow bambuziling the rest of the commune while I'm busy graduating from college. (and getting sucked into Guildwars)

BS. When I say our Patron won't let us I mean our Patron won't let us. Lisaera has made it perfectly clear on several occasions She feels our best form of interaction with Glomdoring is with violence.
So to correct Daganev and as I said before, change the mind of Parton's and I'm all for it. Hell Erion knows I tried way back when during the conversation the Black Dog.

Yea. Walked in on that. Made me laugh.
But, as I told Daevos on IRC, and as people have said repeatedly here. Seren/Glom is more ICly possible, according to the GLOM RP, than glom/mag. S'all. Not saying Seren/glom is more likely than seren/celest. But a nature vs civilization is INHERITANTLY there. And, an easy fix to the Ethereal is to say simply no druids/knights w/out moon/night on there. Simply. Stay out of Faethorn. Let the Dancers and Moon/Night Ebon/serenguard fight it all. S'all.
Works for me. As it stands, Crow is totally ignoring (or SEEMS to be ignoring) the existance of Hart. He's still all messed up and fluttery-happiness with Viravain and all. This may change when Glom gets it's two guild tutors (Read: Dominique and Damian).

I don't want an alliance with Glomdoring. As far as I'm concerned, it should have never risen, but it's here.
Erion2005-06-03 20:06:56
Aww. We love you, too!
Bau2005-06-03 20:46:49
It's not going to happen unless the Divine do a 180 and demand it. Glomdoring just wants peace. Serenwilde wants annihilation. (you'd think it'd be vice versa)
Unknown2005-06-03 23:17:48
White Hart and the Moon Avatars are all war mongerers... and while I agree Serenwilde COULD use the reasoning that pure taint (Mag) is worse than a twisted forest (Glom) and unite on the terms of smashing Magnagora and Celest into the dirt, I don't see it happening because, sadly, Glomdoring is full of people who betrayed and screwed Serenwilde over, so there is bad blood there BEYOND the Moon-Night/Hart-Crow conflict.
Daganev2005-06-04 00:27:53
I'm going to repeat what Lisarea and Estarra have said many times on these forums. Supernals NPCs gods all have thier own incentives and those incentives and ideas may not coraspond with what is actually best for the community listen to those voices.

Totally agreed.
And I will oppose an alliance with Glomdoring with all my strength in game, because it would be a complete violation of our principles.
I understand why Glomdoring wants to take advantage of whatever it can, so an alliance with Serenwilde seems beneficial, but they can't really expect Serenwilde to return the interest.
Unknown2005-06-04 00:43:58
The Supernals, Demon Lords/Ladies, Night/Moon avatars are sorta like the Shoulder Demons/Angels, you dont have to listen to em, but they are there, and of course the shoulder demon rocks.
An Alliance between GLom and Seren would be opposed on both ends, mutual peace would be the closest thing you could get between them, i mean it's like saying Magnagora's gonna help Celest get villages and start giving back their dwarves.

Cronnacht pretty much stopped giving a damn about anything other then doing his duty to the letter of the law since the Summer Court went kaput. His idealism died with the Court and Gloriana. Now he just laughs and fights(dies) a lot. What ever it takes to make Mother Moon stronger he'll do, that and what ever the High Priestess tells him too. Neither one would ever agree to allying with Glomdoring but he'd do it in a heart beat if they said too.
Suhnaye2005-06-05 03:10:22
Hrm... The main reason Serenwilde is not and probably never will be at peace with Glomdoring is because Lisaera refuses to stop hating anything tainted... Changing her mind is quite impossible, changin patrons is not impossible but by now its probably quite unlikely, its doubtfull Auseklis would have been so hate oriented, and would have pointed out, that although Glomdoring is tainted, its still a forest... Whether that makes it an ally or enemy really isn't relavant, its the people that make eachother enemies, not their homes. I honestly don't have a clue about Viravain, or what she's pushing for anymore...
As for this alliance type thing between glomdoring and Mag... I think its absolutely idiotic, considering Glomdoring supposedly doesn't believe its tainted, meaning, it should consider Mag an enemy...

Bau2005-06-05 03:26:46
Auseklis is not so oriented at all. He has been around once recently, -after- I posted on His Order news that I was now a Glomdorian, and all He had to say was "Get me a shrine in that forest!"
He also posted once to Serenwilde (and you'll have to go back and read it, it was around post 60 if I recall correctly) that He didn't care if something was tainted.
My god! MINE! Serenwilde didn't want Him anyway.

Exactly my point, he's the only Divine who's every really let mortals do their own thing and choose their own path... And never really had any prejudices... except for cities...
Bau2005-06-05 03:39:46
Yeah, He hates cities. It was part of the letter you write to join the Order - "Why do you hate cities?" I love seeing the letters from people who are in cities that apply to join.
I still wish PATRON worked so I could actually put people in the Order, though.
