I have to agree with Tehn here. They lowered the amount that dexterity helps... and dexterity doesn't affect mobs anyways. (Terenas, you *do* have drawdown, which I believe helps you while taking damage, no?) The reason we lost con and strength was due to our faster speed highly affecting the larger dex changes. The dex changes were lowered, and the SPEED ITSELF is being lowered.

Basically, we're required to forget crow and learn night for the aura if we want any chance at surviving, now... and if it doesn't fit our rp, what? "You're screwed"? Fine, I guess, but I'd prefer you just say that instead of "Oh, everything's fine."

I may decide to make Shiro a full time hunter, until Gaudiguch is released and thus use the recarination for humans

I think that post was excellent, Angel, but from my logs it seems that Igasho gained 1 point of both dexterity and strength, but lost a point of constitution. Just a minor correction there, assuming that my logs are actually accurate.

Gregori, not all of us have highmagic and night. I don't get +1 st, I don't get extra weapon stats.

It wouldn't make sense for me to change skillsets (unless I want to be like Visaeris, who followed Crow for 20 years and changed randomly). I -might- change to highmagic, but that costs $$$.

Right, and when another commune comes out, and a new specialization is put in, we're doomed to repeat this process. A decent race like Dracnari doesn't need alot of buffs, but when they become a specialization, I expect them to own. Non-Specialized Merian need to be on par with other non specialized.

Actually, I rarely see domesticated dogs and cats fight each other if they live in the same home. Considering that African Wild dogs and Big cats are pretty much the wild predatory races in real life and actual zoologists consider their rivalry to be real, I will continue to align my opinion with theirs. Well, until you can bring forth evidence that actually shows that they are wrong.

The dogs and cats thing is an over-publicized somewhat-myth. Do you think your cat would get along with a ferret living in the same home? Likely about as well as they'd get along with a dog.

Lets put it this way... Aslaran are cat-like in may aspects, but they are not cats. Loboshi are canine-like, but are not canines. Both races have many of the instincts of the speices they can be identified with, yet they are NOT that species.

However, let's just step into this weird world where felines and canines are the only predators. Now, feline A has a rivalry with feline B, canine C, and canine D. Feline B has a rivalry with feline A, canine C, and canine D. Canine C has a rivalry with feline A and feline B. Canine D has a rivalry with feline A and feline B. Now do the arithmetic and show me how canines have some innate rivalry particularly against felines, or vice versa. As opposed to, where predators have a rivalry against other predators, and some form packs, and some don't.

Really, of all the ridiculous things to be arguing about.
