So is L3 better than L2 by a smaller or larger increment than L2's benefit compared to L1?

I believe it's exponential increase, or that's what I've heard. So lvl3 is a greater increase over lvl2 then 2 is over 1.

What I'm scared of is Tuek as a Mugwump. Hellishly fast hexes, and an insane lash.

I have changed into a mugwump to test them, and right now I see that they perhaps are a bit too fast. I think the change on them may have to be rethought. Truthfully, a mugwump makes a better aquamancer than an Imperial Merian. I can say the same about Aslarans too, but that will be left for a thread about them.

Thing everyone is forgetting is Mugwumps are VERY easy to take down, even Tuek dies in a few hits when he is that race.

They're very easy to take down unless they start entangling you, leaving you with a 1 second or less opening to do something or another. Mugwumps never had a significant problem with staying alive before when they had level 2 fast eq, they were quite common. Give them another point of int and change their eq back to what it was before if you ask me.

EDIT: Apparently they're softening the effects of eq/balance changes, so we might as well wait and see how that goes before complaining too much. The current state of level 3 balances isn't going to stay it would seem.

Ohhh, if all Mugwump can do is keep you entangled, that means you are able to heal...and Ents are never that big of a problem. they are still easy to take down with damage. There are much worse imbalances in the game right now than a few people being able to web you fast.

It's actually a lot worse than that, think of an Aquamancer able to staffcast every 2.5 seconds, or a Guardian using Amissio or Lash, it's utterly insane how fast they can do it.

ok, the Ami/Lash thing is scary.....

Narsrim lash me for 1600 mana in the time that I can sip once, and that's not counting in Banshee and other faes. Against a Guardian with Amissio, I'll be drained 2000 mana every 6 seconds.

Since they're percentage based, anything faster than old level 2 fast eq would have to be pretty scary. Don't want to fight wiccans/guardians without necromancy anymore

Don't want to be anything with low mana or sip penalty too. I can only imagine how fast Viscanti or Dracnaris are going to get absolved/toadcursed nowaday.

Heh, there is no way in hell you're gonna be able to prevent a mugwump moondancer or celestine from absolving you, no matter how much mana you may have.

Shield and running away..though that sucks. Maybe they an change Lash and Ami whilethey are at it...draining about 23% of Max per Lash is sick already, even without he EQ recovery of a Mugwump

Not unless you have level 2 or 3 mana regen with high mana and no sip penalty.

But yeah, you're going to be screwed if you have anything less than 3500 mana.

The amount it drains depends also on your max mana, the higher it is the less % it will drain, the lower it is the more % it will drain, since that's what the code causes to happen with it. They don't need to change anything about amissio or lash, they just need to destroy lvl3 equilibrium recovery, level 2 was more than enough.
