Not just for the mana drain, but faster shielding and faster shield removing is a very big deal. A mugwump shield time is probably only like half a second slower than a neutral eq hammer, maybe a second slower than a neutral balance raze.

I'll need to test this, but in our last fights amaru was hitting me with Ami and it drained a little over 900 mana each time, and I have a 3700 max

As someone with about 1500 mana (faeling, lv 65, surged) I'm screwed aginst one of them.

Level 2-equilibrium recovery bonus was pretty much the ceiling in Achaea. Well grook monks could get a bit faster in Dragon stance, but they needed to make a purchase of 4900 credits worth of artifacts to make it overpowered.

I really think the changes to mugwumps need to be reconsidered. Even downgraded to a level 2-equilibrium recovery bonus, mugwumps would still do very well considering the other changes made to them.

I couldn't agree more. The level 3 eq bonus allows Guardians to amissio 3 times in the time it takes me to sip mana. Not to mention Marsu claims with Quickening, he can Amissio once every second. This is just freaking rediculous. Please change it back to level 2 and give them more Con, or reduce their penalties, a level 3 eq is way too unbalancing.

This should go down to 2.

If they drop Mugwump's level 3 eq down, I can't imagine what they would do to level 1 balance or eq bonus, those might be virtually useless then.

I should have listened to Estarra. I figured that since I was thinking of Faeling before any of these changes, I'd be ok if they tweaked them later. If my rune speed goes, I'll be highly annoyed. 2.5 second runes are nice, 4 second runes are worthless, especially with all the added herb balance They threw in.
