Mmm. RP= changing your race to suit your fighting skills until you can apply a race to a coded RP situation. Got it.

Why not? Reincarnation is not OOC and it's quite common in Lusternia. Why do you think someone can't be a good roleplayer and reincarnate to get advantage of some race to accomplish his goals easier?
It's all about how you define RP I guess.
Many players build their roleplaying around their race, so reincarnation would be hard without breaking it (let's say, for Daganev to turn into Faeling

It depends how you incorporate it into your story.

I'm just sad the only good advantage non-specialized Merians once had, the bonus eq, is just worthless now.

Unknown2005-06-07 20:18:08
It's always been said that specialisation races outside of their specialisations should suck... Merian before were pretty good no matter where you took them. There should be better choices now.

Merian.. and good? They die -way- too fast.
Just like Igasho and Orclach are done for after two amissio

Amissio needs to be fixed, Amaru had me down past 25 percent mana, when I had 4000 mana
edit: Sorry, he had me down in like 3 amissios

That's why I like being a non-specialized Merian Knight, I can Surge for an additional 2500 health against fighters or relax Surge to have 5k mana to not be absolved in 3 Amissios.
Wished I had my bonus eq back to where it was before though.

I don't really fight that much but 0.3 sec -does- seem rather.. useless.
Amaru2005-06-07 20:30:45
Gah, that's crap and you know it. Hajamin even said himself that it's percentage based. 0.3 seconds, what is that supposed to mean?
Unknown2005-06-07 20:33:04
What I meant:
QUOTE(roark @ Jun 7 2005, 01:10 AM)
4 seconds equilibrium is very common for spellcasters. (Knights are harder to guage since their weapon speed makes them quite variable.) So with that in mind, a level 1 EQ bonus would take off almost .3 seconds from the spell. I think that's still good.

Roark said that if an ability took 4 seconds, a level 1 eq would bring it down to a whopping .3 seconds. I can shield 7.5% faster than before, and all I had to do was trade in 10 Con, 11 Strength, and 11 Dexterity for it.
