And, it's stupid either way. The Fae are bound to Mother Night. They're already bound in shadows. Think of it this way. BIG ball of water. You're inside. You're swimming around. You're dropped in the water. Is it any harder to swim than before? No. But movement isn't as easy as on land, now is it?

Shadow-bound Fae are followers of Mama Shadow. Mama Shadow protects her chilluns.

Works for me, I can sling cen/manna. Sucks if you can't though.
