Does anyone know the order of the best to worst quickening skills... Like quickening, speedstripes, etc...?

They're just different. Quickening gives you insane eq recovery for about 10 seconds. If you don't have an eq bonus, that means you spend 7 seconds recovering eq, then 3 seconds to unleash sheer pwnage. If you're a tae'dae, it means you spend 3 power and sit there for 10 seconds. I've never had a real advanced Seren alt, so I may be wrong, but I believe the face paints just give a bonus to balance/eq, but a penalty to the other. It's near-permanent, though.

Mugwump quickening, anyone?

I'd love mugwump quickening. You could probably get ten cosmicfires off with it. I could get five to seven out of a pre-nerf merian.

LIghtning and Swiftstripes are +1 eq/balance, -1 balance/eq, -10% armor.

Maybe it was upgraded since I was a nihilist, but I could barely get off 3 moves inside of a quickening as a neutral eq race.

its still like that for neutral eq races as far as I can tell, as a human i hardly get anything out of quickening

5 to 7 has a merian... wow. Mugwump keeps looking better and better.

Perhaps you should learn the background history of Fain before questioning my insights. There is a reason he hated Meridian and Elfenehoala. Why would he in any shape or form tolerate their divine mortal splinters?

Fain not liking them isn't a reason why evil merian wouldn't work. You're just trying to hate as usual, and as usual can't even do that right.

It really isn't a mater of why it would and would not work. You said that you would go Merian if they were not power banned in Magnagora. I replied that would be stupid because given their history with Fain, they are and should be forever banned.

And if you go Mugwump, don't be expecting too much. The speed is the same (or nearly) before the other races were upgraded. Mugwumps truly got the shaft.

I see no mention about them staying/going off power ban here. Way to backtrack.

I can get 3 moves with quickening as a neutral eq race too. Some Merian told me he could get 4 if he was lucky (read no lag heh). So it was nowhere in the range of 5-7. It was before speed changes.

As an aslaran with lvl1 faster equilibrium before the speed nerf, I could get in 5 cosmicfires before it wore off, 6 if I spammed.

Now I get in 3.. if I spam, just like I did before having lvl1 faster equilibrium.

Gotta love that faster equilibrium bonus..
