The collective ignorance is astounding!

Anyway, the point is not what government Cuba has or how it got there, or if its a good governement or not. Nobody but Cuba calls Cuba a Democracy, and the fact that an AP government class would try to teach you that Cuba is a democracy is just BAD education.

They might as well start teaching you that the world is flat and Marx is the most famous Capitalist in the world.

Well, I also sleep through class half the time. But she did call Cuba a democracy. happy.gif She might have gone back and went through the mechanics.. But, it's a democracy, and I'm stickin' to it.

Even if it's really a dictatorship.

Just so you can understand where I'm comming from, I had a class the other weak where the teacher was explaning that society and history have to be looked at from the multiple subjective views of the people who live in them and that nobody can declare one view correct over the other. To which I asked, does that mean I can call Marx a Capitalist, and the man said "YES! Exactly, Marx believed in the capital of the worker and his rights and that fairly and freely traded man hours would build a society that gives people the greatest incentive to work harder"

It was at that point I stopped listening to the rest of the lecture.

It's all perspective. It's all False Memory, more or less, to make the IC relation. Honestly, I don't give a damn what you call Cuba's government.

I'm still tired of my social security being in the crapper, and we're still giving float overs about $10k from it.
