The last 4 times I've killed a serenwilder I was on Java with no Triggers or aliases or anything, and with no defences up. I more often fight without any defences or herbs or potions then with them, and win just as often as I lose.


I've never seen such a group of people with such a complex that they have to resort to declaring who and who does have the authority to give an opinion. Its pretty disgusting. THe level of Objectivity any of you have shown in these forum on any issue is less than nil.

Firstly narsrims claims that you can bashbrain in 6 crushes just simply isn't true.

I have repeatedly had someones head at critial THEN put on 5 crushes and a heap more head combos, and i didn't once get a bashbrain. You still need to swing to get a bashbrain.

Also, bashbrain is the penalty for letting your head get too low.

I haven't seen ANY of my crushes or jabs hit for a bashbrain yet, only swings. you'll note in my log vs aesyra (pre knighthood changes but after the bashbrain change) i had to smite down.

personally I think having to smite down for bashbrain is a good idea. However narsrim your healing skillset totally negated the majority of mya tacks, so i don't know what you're complaining about

I would also like to point out that that was with shortswords, which have since been downgraded a LOT (down to 120/150 precision from 250+). My rapiers do a fair bit less in wounding damage, I'm not sure how easy it is to even get them anywhere near 250 precision, but they are quicker.

Anyway, as some have said, giving everyone an ability equivalent to Puer would be neat, but will not necessarily solve the problem. The problem is even though pinleg (or impale) aren't that particularly deadly in the hands of a damage knight, since they're so horribly slow, they're particularly destructive in the hands of a speed knight. It is extremely easy to stack over 2k+ bleeding within a matter of less than 4 rounds, I've done it to Murphy even before the wounding changes. Bear in mind that I don't have any speed bonuses, in the hands of an Aslaran or Shadowlord, it becomes a lot worse.

I would be happy to be able to do half the amount of wounding I can on some people right now, at least it's not insanely overpowering.
