Kick-ass adamantium claws work too. Although I'm sure if SWORDS came out of his hands, he could do more damage, from the range upgrade.

That pisses me off about wolverine, his claws don't really fit into his hands. I guess they're supposed to be in his forearms or something?

They're integrated into his skeletal structure (It was removed, and replaced by a metal one). They actually do pull back into his forearms, on a retractable rolling bar, which locks into place, then can roll back. All by muscle/nerve movements.

No more than his claws would hurt. They'd just be longer. Now if he had morning stars pop out of his hands or something, that might sting a bit.
