This is a silly, random idea, but what if there were one-way channels similar to radio stations, where people who tune in can hear things people are saying in a particular room (sort of like the inverse of Achaea's Membrane)? One or more performers would pay for aethertime, stand in a broadcasting booth, and proceed to tell stories, sing songs, recite poetry, conduct interviews, propose to someone, anything they want people across the Basin to hear (without the annoyance of shouting). There could even be round-table discussions between citizens of different cities and communes, or open political debates! Just a crazy thought that struck me as I read the histories, and it might be fun to see up-and-coming Globglob Mesherbrubs.

Guido tried to do a reporter character and got enemied to Magnagora and I think Serenwilde in about one week beacuse he was giving away information and they all thought he was spying on them. His brain eventually exploded and he made a stupid and massively OOC shout that got him banned.
