(The Midnight Legion): Marcalo says, "Malicia tells you, "And he always leaves
me." You tell Lanista Malicia La'Saet, Sunaj Blade, "Go mag that'll show him.""
(Disciples of Klangratch): Amaru says, "I vitae'd, 5% is nothing."

Paladins don't get hermit, though, but Ur'Guard get Lichdom...
Amaru2005-06-12 15:06:29
This is tiring me out. What's your point? I should have stayed undeffed and died instead of trying to get her out? That I don't care about her?
Daevos2005-06-12 15:11:45
Nah, I was just amused by the fact that you consistently drag her along, and then leave her when you get in trouble.
But mainly I wanted to show in practice how you use your own skills to minimize loss.
And to Shamarah, Paladins can get Serpent, and even combine it with Trueheal for maximum survivability. They can also get spores from the forestal communes.

I don't think we can blame Amaru for anything in this case here...he did what he could, even ugly dogs care for their mate.
Amaru2005-06-12 15:13:53
Yeah, I do use my own skills to minimise loss. Everyone does. But that never equates to no loss..
And I leave her to try and get her out when there's no chance of winning. What's your suggestion?

Athana2005-06-12 15:14:05
Hmm, you still resist empress when that person is on your ally list?

QUOTE
You do know I warned you about repeatedly trying to wisp me before putting you on my list and killing you. I was more than fair. And the killing of non-combatants only goes so far as those who are colelcting Fae in Faethorn, which is the same Seren does to our people, so it's only fair.
You should note from my post that I did not make any sort of value judgement about your actions. I did not in anyway claim they were fair or unfair. The sole point of my post was to take exception with Cronnacht being labeled as the sort who constantly raids
and kills other characters.
As for the wisping and your list. Cronnacht is in the SEG and was under orders to continually try to wisp you. You may have been annoyed because you thought I was doing it merely to 'spam' you but I told you that was not my intent. I'm not that kind of player.
Malicia2005-06-12 15:33:21
It's not his fault, btw. Heh. That's just how it goes. I need to carry spores more or something.

Amaru flings a tarot to the ground. Upon contact, it explodes in a great flash of technicolor light and Amaru is gone.

Yeah, taken from Achaea...
Marcalo2005-06-12 16:44:33
dunno about you Amaru, but if it was kayde being attacked, even if i had already died, and just reliched, i would have ran back in and tell her to run, and die again just so she wouldn't. dunno thats just me though.
Amaru2005-06-12 16:54:44
That would be idiotic.
Malicia doesn't need to be reminded to run, she knows and tries. Attempting to empress her out is far more productive, and often works.

Marcalo2005-06-12 16:55:37
so throwing yourself at some one attacking your wife is idiotic? man i would hate to see what you would do if you two were mugged irl.
Marcalo2005-06-12 17:00:32
actually naw, that was a unfair assement, but still, i don't see how its idiotic to defend some one you love and be willing to die so they could get away, its like you are saying your experiance and levels are more important then hers
Amaru2005-06-12 17:03:48
No...
1) Both of us dying twice
2) Me dying once and high chance of saving her life
You'd choose 1?

Marcalo2005-06-12 17:06:30
if i thought she had a chance of getting away then yes, see unlike most other people i don't give a crap about marcalo's experiance easy come easy go, so if he dies i am like ohh well, guess i gotta spend a few hours on astral.
Manjanaia2005-06-12 17:10:22
I always figure you gotta take death as if it's possible to not be brought back.
Unknown2005-06-12 17:48:57
Someone explain to me please why there is -no- way to stop a ghost. You can kether yes, but how many people have that and who ever dies of kether?
I mean what are guards and statues good for, aside from nothing?

Ghost is awesome.
On the test server, I killed Meleris as an ur'guard with ease, and solo-ed twelve guards on a statue using hit and run. (Nativeforming does not get you hit by the statue)
