Hee. Um. Yeah, instinct is to vote a random person, but THAT DOESN'T WORK NOW. So, Tsu, kill a random person! (Like that darn suspicious Rhayni. HMM.)

I don't know, maybe that has something to do with the lack of speaking last round... nobody wants to say anything about the Magnora There was quite a bit of conversation the first day.
Unknown2005-06-29 21:57:30
Abiella: Actually, I mentioned my suspicion of shadow on Day 1. That suspicion never changed throughout. No one convinced me of differently. There wasn't enough talk to do so. I find it interesting that you say this game is going rather slow but you haven't contributed anything but two posts. Then you say Magnora should kill you. This is either a sorry attempt at "Wine in front of me" logic or you really are bored with the game.
I see no reason why we shouldn't look at people who are Magnora. Tsuki could be Soulless. I could be, as Abiella pointed out. I wasn't so SURE shadow was Soulless, but beyond the quick wrapping up of Navaryn, she was the only lead and I thought it was stupid to kill him, because I'm not convinced that his sorry attempt at defending himself meant that he was a Soulless.
If we're to continue with this game, I think it is too early for Elohora to come out with any results yet. First, we don't know how many Elohoras there are and if there's only one, Elohora will probably be killed by the Soulless that night, which will leave us without much to help later on when it will be incredibly important. I would assume if Elohora gets a guilty result, they will make somewhat of an attempt to convince Magnora to kill said person, then barring that, when the time is right, they'll come out with the result.
As for the setup of this game in comparison to others, the main factor here I think that's hurting the Elders is the Magnora role. First, this eliminates voting. Eliminating voting eliminates discussion. Without seeing how people vote, it's very difficult to get a read on their motives, their connections with other players, etc. Also, it does open up the opportunity for a Soulless Magnora to just pick off an Elder without justification. The two combined make Magnora an imbalance and a detriment to the Elders in my opinion. That said, I'm obviously still here and talking and willing to make a go of it and see what happens.

I am now back in my own environment (unfortunately for me) and thus I have my list of players and roles and all the rest.
Rather conviently for Rhayni, the Yudhe died at the very beginning. The Tzaraziko created a temporary Yudhe, but it no longer exists. This means that you all now have to vote for a Magnora, who will select a victim. If you all don't vote then the current Magnora remains (sorry Tsuki).
And just because I'm feeling contankerous, the rules didn't preclude voting while you had both Yudhe and Magnora. You were still supposed to make suggestions, _and_ vote for someone in the event that the Magnora refuses to pick.

I'm going to vote for Tsuki as Magnora again, A) Because I trust her judgement, and Because it pisses her off.
As for who to kill - it's STILL impossible to tell. I'm going to START conversation by pointing at Ralshan (Aesyra died, and Ralshan was arguing with her at the start, putting everyone off or whatever.) This is really a bad way to choose but I can't think of any other way, and I am being angrily kicked by a certain individual because the game is slow and they want me to start something.

I'm not sure that ticking off the Magnora is a great idea, Shiri.
Anyhow... Tsuki for Magnora seems decent, I guess. Don't really have any other suggestions, unless we just don't vote for a Magnora until we have a better idea and go off of pure votes alone, which might spur folk to speak up.
As far as who to kill... I have some suspicions about Rhayni based on what she's said, but that's about all they are. The whole Ralshan / Shadow thing looked like friendly banter that Rhayni read too much into, but meh.

Xenthos: Based on what part of what I said? My suspicions over the friendly banter as you call it or my wanting people to talk more? I would've been more than happy to choose a different person had people talked and raised suspicions but I had not much to go on as I've said before. Talking is only good for the Elders. Not talking is good for the Soulless.
Until there is more talk, I don't have anyone I'd like to see killed at the moment.

Basically the entire opening with "Hey let's kill that one now because I am impatient!" thing, coupled with this paragraph: 'I see no reason why we shouldn't look at people who are Magnora. Tsuki could be Soulless. I could be, as Abiella pointed out. I wasn't so SURE shadow was Soulless, but beyond the quick wrapping up of Navaryn, she was the only lead and I thought it was stupid to kill him, because I'm not convinced that his sorry attempt at defending himself meant that he was a Soulless.'
Sorry, you're just rubbing me the wrong way, though I agree wholeheartedly with wanting more discussion. Note that I'm not actually voting, just working on... hey, look at that, we have a discussion going! Activity! Now to get the others here...

Hmm. So my nomination for Magnagora was put forward by Shiri and seconded by Xenthos. Here's my campaign speech:
I promise, if elected, to eliminate someone every day. If necessary, my decision will be random, with none of the "judgement" Shiri seems to think I have. I am, after all, Tzaraziko, and as such I already killed Yudhe the first night. I'll practice nepotism, so that Siv will be last to die ... unless I need health refills and she's MIA for too long and I can't get 'em. I will kill Navaryn for the avatar and Erion because he was once Faeslayer. I will kill Shiri and Xenthos for voting for me. I will kill ... wait, where's the list of players? found it ... all the rest of you for various non-reasons as the whim strikes. If nothing else, I will ensure that the game ENDS, one way or another, by killing everyone off. Vote for me!
I vote Shiri for Magnagora. Ha!
Edit: Oh, but I also won't kill people off arbitrarily if y'all actually VOTE someone away. Only killing if it's needed because y'all haven't voted. *sagenod*

And ... a resounding response, I see. Well, if I've still got the spirit of Magnora, Manjanaia dies next for silence.

Fine, Manjanaia is dead.
Because only one person actually managed to carry out their task last night, I'm going to let everyone perform twice tonight. Soulless, this means you get to kill 2 people.

Is it still going on or what?

Unknown2005-07-07 18:38:49
I'm going to have to quit. I just don't have the emotional energy to track everyone down and make them PM me their actions. I've only had the Soulless and the Tzaraziko tell me anything tonight. Plus no one is really participating during the day, and I haven't really been up to writing fun event posts.
If someone else wants to moderate, I'll give you the list of roles and what the Tzaraziko was supposed to do each night, if not I'll just publish them in a couple of days.
I'm sorry it didn't work out, but someone else can start a new game that people will hopefully participate in.

Soulless win!
The apethetic Elders fall into torpor and the Soulless, the only people still awake, tear them into little tiny pieces and feed them to Magnora. Except Tsuki. She's nice and active. Tsuki wins too.
Shadow - Soulless
Abiella - Soulless
Erion - Soulless
Navaryn - Soulless
Xenthos - Soulless
Shiri - Luciphage
BobStar - Yudhe
Aurella - Elohora
Ashteru - Elohora
Tsuki - Tzaraziko
Manjanaia - Elryn
Jairdan - Elder
Ralshan - Elder
Archthron - Elder
Blastron - Elryn
Sylphas - Elder
Rhayni - Elder
Shoshana - Elder
Sivriel - Elder
/7 Elders
/1 Yudhe
/2 Elryn
/1 Tzaraziko
/2 Elohora
/5 Soulless
/1 Luciphage
Tzaraziko's actions
1) The victim's vote counts as 4, in whatever he may vote in.
2) The victim becomes Yudhe for 2 days
3) ... I don't remember
I lost my notebook that had them all written out. I think I just made someone an Elryn for a night, and gave someone two actions one night.
So if it makes you feel any better, Tsuki, you didn't kill BobStar.

Oh well.
Xenthos2005-07-07 19:00:50
This world is OURS... oh, and you can be our little pet, Luciphage. We need some fox hunts to break the long winter nights that will be forthcoming.
Tsuki2005-07-07 19:09:10
Tsuki wins too!
And Tsuki didn't kill BobStar, which does indeed make her feel better. Being Tzaraziko was ... odd.
But how was that for instincts/luck? I'd've ended up killing Erion and Navaryn, both Soulless, at some point as Magnora
