Ahem, agreed. Except for naming him the Shadow King. Name him the High Priest of Night, much better for he is lesser than the Queen but still high and mighty with his better rank.

Glomdoring and Night have always given off a matriarchical society - It's always seemed to give the feeling of MOTHER Night, and the Queen of Night, and her lover was the Summer King, but not her husband. And, as far as most things went, it is fairly obvious that Rowena was in charge, and giving orders.

It was Guido, I believe, that had quite a few interesting theories as to the original Glomdoring, and the multitude of lovers Rowena may have had.

At any rate, yes, High Priest of Night is far superior to anything else, really. There's been nothing to suggest a male has ever actually been Night's Chosen, and just the whole shadowy, Nighty feel gives a feeling that it is, indeed, a first.
