Yes, I am saying that him changing sides would not make any sense at all. He would have to go through a process of discovery and heartchanges to actually make it make sense in my mind. This jumping from one end to the other without any type of actual transition in the person's views seems to be too rampant to me. One day I am killing your angels, guards, and citizens. The next day I am here to join up with you, because I have suddenly discovered the light.
If he took time to role-play his change of heart, then I could see him eventually finding his way into Celest. Like if he stopped raiding Celestia with his comrades. If he started questioning certain actions being proposed in meetings that go counter to what his new outlook is telling him. If he started telling his people to pull back after they have met an objective, instead of going on until everyone and everything is destroyed. Even perhaps if he told his troops to not taunt the enemy, after his troops defeat enemy combatants. With time it could happen, but him popping up on Celest’s doorstep after he killed a bunch of guards, citizens, and angels 6 to 12 months (Lusternia) ago does not cut it in my mind.

It is settled then. Why? Because I also agree that it would be important for Ixion to play out his transition, if it's something tangible for a third person it would be even better than the usual "inner battle and change of mind" scenario. But yeah, as long as Ixion makes the developement of his character to suddenly despise his current affiliations and somehow give the impression he really has encountered salvation or fame elsewhere, and makes this rather evident, I'd believe that Ixion made a good created a good role.

Actually, done right, it could. Jasper had something done to him recently by Lisaera. Although Lisaera intended it for other means, it very much cemented him to Night. Likewise, if it was Ixion's true calling, a 6th Circle God(dess) could awaken him to it.

Do whatever you want, and don't be influenced by all these people posting "Come to my City/Commune!" Whatever decision feels right for you is probably going to be the best one.

I agree with Nokraenom.
Well, partly.
The other part is screaming, "GO PALADIN, GO PALADIN!"

Turning 180° is always risky, but strangely it is pretty easy to explain...either you notice how cool the dark side is...or you might realize that the taint is just crap and the sooner you get rid of it the better...anyway, there are always reasonable possibilities...in the end it is the player who has to decide where he or she might have the most fun or maybe face his or her greatest challenge.

I'm with Nokraenom as well.
Speaking from experience, you need to be really sure that it is what you want to do. I've moved so many times when I didn't want to, each time had a good reason behind it (well at least to me it did) family, likes etc.
I'd miss you if you left Magnagora, you are one of the best members and quite inspirational at times but go with what you want to do. Erion is right as well, you tend to regret these things if there is even a fraction of doubt.
Good luck to you whatever you choose.

Yes, Lisaera actually intended to force away his Night affiliations which She thought were hiding his true purpose, which was to be a servant to Moon. Turned out when She did Awaken him that his true purpose was to serve Night, and Moon had been the illusion.
Manjanaia2005-06-14 18:27:24
That's some cool RP.

Silvanus2005-06-15 00:49:36
We need Fain here to do a "Request Denied" too Ixion.
If you go Paladin, I might have to find a reason to come back to Lusternia and kill you! I'll go Nihilist just to do it.

No harming my brother Silvanus, no matter his decision! Or you'll have a very pissed Demigod after your head.
PS: And yes, pull a Soll, that was so darn funny
