Okay, so, I'm sitting at work. I just finished the rough draft of Atropos' speech and Erion's final moments. And my co-worker goes, "Yo, Kyle, go to CNN!"

So I turn my head to look at one of my four monitors (Ahahahaha!) and refresh it.

Anyway. http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/06/13/jackson.trial/index.html

The verdict will be read in 1/2 hour.
Richter2005-06-13 20:03:46
Yeah, we're doing the same thing here in the office. happy.gif

Edit: You have -four- monitors? What the hell do you do?
Manjanaia2005-06-13 20:10:25
Cheers Erion.
Joli2005-06-13 20:11:28
Yeah. I've got this thing with CNN that sends me an email everytime something big happens.. I thought it was something about the Aruba chick, but nah.. it was M.J. I'm lazy and just go to the website.. dun need no tv.

I answer phones. biggrin.gif And monitor the network status. That's two monitors. The other one is for news, and the final one is for browsing the forums. happy.gif

That's censor.gif insane.. I can't even think of what I'd do with 4 monitors. I'd prolly play the sims on one of em tho..
Richter2005-06-13 20:14:26
I have one. And the alt+tab everytime a supervisor walks by.

Yes, supervisor behind me, I mean you.

I'd be fired by now if some guy was watching everything I did on the computer. I can't stand that.. dry.gif
Manjanaia2005-06-13 20:18:58
So what do we think? Guilty or not guilty?
Richter2005-06-13 20:26:27
Well, OJ got off.

Not that he was guilty. Or not guilty. I still don't know!
Manjanaia2005-06-13 20:30:18
Verdict delayed. 9:45 gmt.
Erion2005-06-13 20:32:30
They'll find him not guilty on everything but the charge of giving alcohol to a minor, me thinks.

OJ got off, but Peterson (to my sadness) did not. So, we'll see.

9:45 GMT is 5:45 AM Eastern time. There is no way they'd read the verdict at that time.
Manjanaia2005-06-13 20:39:32
There's an audio feed on bbc.co.uk. Silent until they read the verdict.
Manjanaia2005-06-13 20:40:40
They're reading it in 6 minutes approximately Rhysus. It's 9:39 in GMT right now. Also, it was nine when Erion said 30 mins.
Erion2005-06-13 20:42:20
Manjanaia's a little buggered. He's reading it on a 12 hour scale.
Richter2005-06-13 20:42:55
Three more minutes.

And Erion, if you wanted Peterson off, you're sick.
Erion2005-06-13 20:44:01
But, yea, it should be 20:43 GMT right now.
Manjanaia2005-06-13 20:44:14
Yeah that's what I meant. Sorry.

OJ got off, Peterson should. S'all I'm saying.
