Faethorn Conflict

Erion and Visaeris were killing fae, that I can definitely confirm, oh dear Xenthos. They don't really cater to authority well but their actions fell on all of you. There's no treaty now and you could easily agree to ignore the fae, but no. You want a fight and so you get one. That's the only reason I raid Rockholm or Paavik. But note that I don't attack the dwarves. I don't like attacking the villagers in Paavik either, but Malicia gets really pissed at Glomdoring.

And Munsia, Nejii's right but there's no need for anyone to insult you here! smile.gif

clap_1.gif  Nyla created rituals that contain comitting suicide to thier avatars. And they were 'ordered' to spar out of the arena by nyla. (so says who I asked! it could be wrong)

There is ONE ritual in which you sacrifice yourself to Crow. You lose at most 5 percent in experience... It has its purpose and actually means something.

I have never ordered anyone to spar outside the arena. I ask them and they do it. I have actually paid for my guild to use the arena with my own gold to help them learn to fight. Plus I am not going to have my guild sitting back not fighting because they are afraid to lose levels.

Malicia... Glomdoring does not raid Faethorn. You people need to stop saying this. It is not raiding. Or does Serenwilde raid faethorn everytime they give the fae honeycakes?

And I remember us trying to just sit back and plant totems and train fighters and we still got attacked by Serenwilde even after stating we didnt want to war with Serenwilde.
Elryn2005-06-19 02:22:59
Just a reminder. This topic is NOT a bitch thread about Glomdoring, Glomdoring's actions, or Serenwilde's choices of the role it takes.

It is about the conflict in Faethorn as given to both communes by the game mechanics. I think we can expect Glomdoring is going to want to dominate/destroy the fae, and Serenwilde is going to want to serve/protect them.
Xenthos2005-06-19 02:25:02
And Erion was removed.

Visaeris, well. He was given many more chances than he should have been, I spent a lot of time pushing for his removal.

As soon as it became neccessary for gloms to kill fae, however, any chance of a treaty got screwed.

Gregori threw out the treaty long before we started hunting Fae. Aside from Visaeris I think (or was it someone else?) all of the Shadow Court was abiding by and making sure others abided by the treaty, just Gregori never fulfilled his end
Laysus2005-06-20 10:52:04
Yes, the "Apart from" causes problems there. tongue.gif

If an organisation adheres to a treaty, all it's members do.

See the problem now?

Personally I'm going to laugh like a mofo when Glomdoring's villages get ripped away from them. Glomdoring doesn't understand the meaning of losing gracefully, or of respecting their stronger neighbours. It's an attitude which is begging for discipline.

Ya know what Amaru.. I am going to have to give you a big STFU. Lusternia has been open how many months now and Celest is JUST now able to take villages on their own.....barely. You can talk smack now because you have had time to establish yourselves. Magnagora used to whoop up on both Celest and Serenwilde in the early days.... by themselves, and now you what to talk crap because we arent able to take on two established entitites at the same time? Hell you all were trying to kill the Avatars before the commune was even a commune yet. I remember Serenwilde early on and I cant say much for Celest, but Glomdoring has started out way better contrary to popular belief.
Amaru2005-06-20 13:41:52
I talk smack now because I've contributed immensely to Celest's ability to take villages. And what I despise about Glomdoring is your whining to Malicia, 'take pity on us, we're weak, what have we ever done to you'... when as soon as you outnumber Serenwilde, you rush onto Faethorn in a mass and scream F'AI GLOMDORING, WE SHALL SHOW NO MERCY as if you're the big guys. Two-faced and weak. Not one Glomdorian besides Ethelon has even got themselves into the position of being a worthy fighter. All the combat you do is either with your tongues, or when the enemy isn't looking.

But, that's their style. It's the shady False Memory of Crow - and the shadowy nature of Night. They'll beg and cry, but as soon as they see an advantage, they'll stick a knife in your back. Shrug. They'll burn for it, but eventually, they'll have their day.
Amaru2005-06-20 14:06:35
Well as long as their motto is 'Show no mercy' and they get walked over for it, I can say what I like about Glomdoring. Their dishonour irritates me IC.

I don't blame you - not knocking you, either. They irritate me IC and OOC. Although, I guess Eri's officially dead now. Poor thing.

Ahem. Celest had Serenwilde's help in securing villages. We gladly helped. I wouldn't say that they did it all on their own. /pride

I kind of figured I'd not say anthing... But, yea. Erm. Serenwilde fought, Celest influenced. There was no Celest-on-it's-own. They're still too weak.
Malicia2005-06-20 14:27:49
Celest is getting stronger but yeah..what you said Erion. Sorry for the hijacking, Elryn. biggrin.gif

We could just nuke Mag. Lots of problems would be solved.

Are you flipping kidding me Amaru? That was exactly my point. You talk all high and mighty now, but when you were having your asses handed to you Celest was whining like a little bitch. And the fact is you still cant do censor.gif without Serenwilde. Where was all the smack talk when you were getting you ass kicked? Celest whined constantly about things being unfair. So did Serenwilde.

As far as my conversation with Malicia I was pointing out some things to her as a friend. Yes I was trying to get her to stop raiding .....and? And so what if I cant fight as well as you? If I want to I can, but I didnt come to Lusternia to PK. And our lack of fighting ability does not take away from our dedication. We dont just sit back and whine. We actually try regardless of wether we succeed or not.

EDIT: Watch your language. ~Shiri~
