It would most likely be, Tae'Dae and Igasho are powerful as it is, I don't really think they require specialization unless it made them more intelligence and/or dexterity inclined.

Tae'dae could get warrior specialisation and Furrikin could get druid/wiccan.

Problem is, I've seen too many snugglebunny furrikins (luckily they usually leave before long when people tell them to start acting stupid and saying "I am a nervous fox scared of the world, that's why I babble so much".
On the good side, there're some vegetarian-animal furrikins, but also, who could say a mink is "snuggly and cute"? I mean, they're little devils that fight against things several kinds their size, bit them in the neck to strangle them and are awfully prone to die with their teeth on somebody else meat/fur before releasing their grip. So, why should all furrikins be snuggly? maybe the squirrel ones, or the rabbit ones... but there're many small vicious predators to look like...
And they are all survivalistic creatures.
And anybody telling me a bear is snuggly, well... Go and snuggle one, I'll take pictures for the Darwin awards from up a tree.

Bears are quite affectionate to one another. That's the problem, really; people aren't quite ready to get their heads around what everyone knows, that there's no conflict at all between being affectionate with your own and being fierce with others. You'd think just having housepets would make people realize that, but people tend to latch onto one half of a stereotype and ignore the other half.

Oook... Where to start...

First off, I think people just think Ackleberry will be full of snugglers because its kind of portraid as more the familyish commune, rather than a fanatical or fanciful... Reference Serenwilde, and Gloriana back in the day... Its also full of cute lil furrikin, which sort of bring a big SNUGGLE to mind just thinkin about em *shrugs*

Now, I wouldn't mind having the snugglers there, since a lot of the snugglers are pretty cool people, and I get along with them best... However, I don't think Ackleberry will be all fun, family, and games... Its true that Ackleberry left before the taint got to it (we think), but a tainted army had already entered its borders and were fighting furiously. Secondly, the taint cloud was just a little south and east of them at Shallach, which was right on the south eastern border of the Ackleberry forest. Ackleberry was the most defensive of all the Communes, but because of that, they were very weak outside their forest, just look at Geb...

Finally, I don't think Ackleberry will be quite as much the fun and games place as everyone hopes, because after thinking about it, talking to several people, and looking closely at maps and figureing the movements of the taint before it dissapeared, I think the taint had enveloped the southern half of the Ackleberry forest before they managed to sever their link with the current time line. So the forest will be half tainted, half untainted, more than likely the southern half will be full of orcs and other big nastys.

And always remember, Furrikin are cute, they are cuddly, but small people have a tendancy of surprising you with great things *points at Lolly*

PS: Murphy, if you join Ackleberry, I will be unbelievably happy

I thought Murphy was a Furrikin too but yea, Lolly.

And likely they've been fighting that taint the entire time, who is to say it hasn't taken over while they were gone.

I insinuated this in an earlier thread, but non-snuggly furrikin would annoy me. If you want to be badass don't be a 3 foot tall talking squirrel.

Lolly was bad ass, as well as the furrikin vernal God. Kiakoda was the most powerful of vernal gods.

Lolly was hardly bad ass, he just wasn't snuggly, either.

Kiakoda might have been bad ass but we don't know for sure.
