What's your favourite films? Just me being curious once again. smile.gif

One of mine is The Green Mile. And I also love the Lion King biggrin.gif.

The Green Mile was a great movie, enjoyed it very much myself. I've always been a fan of LOTR and Star Wars, but those arn't very original for commenting on this topic. mf_swordfight.gif

I've always been a Mel GIbson fan, Braveheart and The Patriot (essentially Braveheart 2) were good movies. mount.gif

The Rock
Boondock Saints
Gloomy Sunday
Silence of the Lambs (books are better)
Dark City

I'm mostly the action movie with morality, or epic tragedy sort of guy.
Then there's Donnie Darko, my guilty pleasure.

Boondock Saints, the first Matrix.

Yeah, Dark City. Arguably as good as the 1st Matrix (or even better for some people, me for example), and much better then the two others tied together.
Unknown2005-06-16 21:34:26
Well it was a Matrix Clone. And it came out first. 2 months I think. Damn the Matrix, I like it and all, but it stole Dark City's fame. I seriously recommend any first Matrix fans go out and get Dark City at some point wub.gif

The Crow. Either are good, but the first one is just *swoon*

They did a damn good job of pulling the comics into a full-length movie.

And the music in it was great too *laugh*

Anyone who doesn't say Boondock Saints hasn't seen it. Or is just icky.

I love Boondock Saints!

I also love....True Romance, Labyrinth, Forrest Gump, Gone with the Wind, North by Northwest, The Great Escape, The Sons of Katie Elder, Whatever happened to Baby Jane, Psycho, A Clockwork Orange.

The list is actually endless, that was just a taste.

The Beach.

Mushroom, Richard?

Oh, and Hotshots 1 & 2.
Thalos2005-06-17 12:37:10
The Last Samurai, Basic, Swordfish, and American History X rank towards the top of my list
tarquin2005-06-17 23:01:54
Ooh is Whale Rider good, I really should see it, I've even stayed at a place that was really near where it was filmed (we wouldn't have been able to stay at the actual place as its sacred-lots of mana).

I luuuuve Breakfast at Tiffanys and a Streetcar named Desire. Although for anyone who has seen a streetcar named desire, my most favourist part is when Stanley walks in, in the beggining. tongue.gif

I don't know half these movies...

I kind of liked The Last Samurai. I liked Big Fish and The Incredibles, though they aren't on the top of my all-time favorites.

Yeah Pulp Fiction is good.

Anyone enjoy really gritty British films? I love stuff like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Trainspotting. Snatch was good too. I never saw Layer Cake though...
