My GOD your a bunch of idiots!

I hope your never in charge of making decisions for large groups of people.

Like I said before, your mixing Theoretical arguments with current on the ground tactics.

Are you arguing -about- the game or  how to better fight in game?

Funny, we're saying the same thing about you RIGHT now. You're argueing like my father does about fishing.

"Well, I can do 40 miles to a gallon if no one's in the boat - not even me."

Which is all well and good. But he is in the boat. There are druids. Taking away the druids from the formula is STUPID - because they ARE there. They WILL purify/infest. THEY WILL, IRRELEVANT OF THE INNATE TYPE OF FOREST AVAILABLE. THEY WILL. WILL. WILL. BECAUSE IT REMOVES THE OPPOSITION'S FLOW/WISP.

Is that clear enough?

*is GM of the Hartstone*

Daganev, you're making arguments as if the Blacktalon still didn't exist. It does, so any minute advantage we get from it defaulting to pure forest is just that, minute.

Weeeell. Hartstone isn't exactly a BIG guild. tongue.gif
Daganev2005-06-17 20:45:26
So let me get this straight?

Your saying that it makes sense for thier to be a natural imbalance because druids make the imbalance irrelevant? If so? Then why argue for the imbalance so strongly?

That would explain the large number of threads explaining how stupid harstone is then, now wouldn't it tongue.gif (I'm just teasing)

...Okay. It rains everyday. When it rains, the ground turns red. But because the ground is red, the plants do not grow. However, if *someone* wakes up in the morning, the plants grow, irrelevant of the color of the ground.

Given that *someone* will wake up EVERY morning, SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE will be waking up, the plants will always be growing. The imbalance is irrelevant now.

I'm not arguing FOR it, I'm just saying that arguing against it is pointless, because the imbalance is so small as to be pointless. The real imbalance is in the strength of the organizations.
Daganev2005-06-17 20:48:27
So why make hte ground turn red and not be able to grow in the first place?

Might as well just remove the whole ground turning red thing.

Oh but wait... There is a small chance the one day, someone won't wake up, (really funny french movie about that) and then the plants won't grow and if your dreambody wants plants you'll be screwed.

Because it's extra, unnecessary work.

But if your dreambody waits until tommorrow, someone will wake up. Or that afternoon. Or evening. Or in ten minutes. And there will be plants.
Daganev2005-06-17 20:57:01
So its ok that I hit you really hard in your arm because the pain will go away in a bit right?
Kaervas2005-06-17 21:00:37
I just got wisped from infested forest to normal forest so something isn't working.
Ethelon2005-06-17 21:15:21
Eiru and Daevos did also... We apparently wisped Laysus from Purified land to Tainted, though we though it was tainted at the time.
Gwylifar2005-06-17 21:50:08
Wait, is there anyone left besides daganev who thinks there's an imbalance there? If not, everyone just stop. That's what consensus looks like, after all.
Laysus2005-06-17 21:51:19
Yeah, that was lucky I already had moonbeam running >.>
