I see one problem and it's bold. Also, the spider thing would probably go best on the western side of Faethorn in the little wing opposite Butter in my opinion. Loyal to Faethorn so we can't kill him also.

See, my point was this, though. Honeycombs can be collected and made into honeycakes, even if all the fae are dead, preserved, and you can come through and clear out all the Fae in a few quick runs. There wouldn't be something like that if it were made of soul-stealing spiderwebs. Hell, I wouldn't care if honeycombs were dropped in EtherWilde, either. But, yea, if he's put in Faethorn, make him Faethorn loyal. Maybe make Ethereal spiders in Etherglom, that drops said silk?

Ooh, spiders not in Glom would be great though. And the silk could be given to mob tailors in villages and those poor Tosha people can get some spiders at last!

As for preserving honeycakes, what about making it something like a silk thread that tailors could make? Then they could both be in Faethorn. Oh, and make the knights stop picking up stuff! ARGH!

I don't think they pick it up, do they? I thought they naturally spawned them. I guess tailors could make a silky spider web. The thing with it not being in glom, I guess, is just, we have to kill. I'd rather not have to kill where Serens could jump me easily, you know? But, you often times have to influence, so it would be FAIR - but it just kind of strikes me as silly.

As to mob tailors, no. Those are spindles. You can get them from killing Dairuchi's spiders and Angkrag's spiders. And glomdoring's spiders, if you're not enemied (they aren't loyal). These would literally be globs of silken web, dropped from spiders made of shadow, or some such.

Aw... but we need -something- to combat the silk monopoly. It's semi-countered with Dairuchi being taken by Celest I guess.

And knights do pick things up. They're like little leprechauns and scoop up things. I once went about influencing them and lots of them gave me monolith sigils. tongue.gif

Ahahaha. Well, the silk monopoly is broken. Just burrow into Angkrag, into the spider area, give them meat from dairuchi, forestcast/teleport out. biggrin.gif

Just wanted to throw this in since someone mentioned the tainted fae Nil enemy thing...

I'm still an enemy of "Nil" but I've never noticed any effect... I can walk freely on Nil (provided no grumpy Nihilist boots me) and cuddle the demons all I want, none of them has ever been reacted to me like to an enemy. The raging whateverhe'scalled dude killed me the other day but I guess that's cause of the raging... um yes.
