Someone actually agreed with an idea of mine, so here it is:

Make health regeneration affect wounds. Say, 1-2 wounds per tick per level of regen, if they helped you back to full, you'd get a message saying "Your wounds on your close up by virtue of your regeneration." so you'd actually know if you'd got wounds back to full, for tracking.

As long as it was only 1-2%, I think it would be fair and it makes sense.

1 point of wounding on every limb would be healed per level of regeneration, everytime regeneration ticks, I reccon, capping at level 3.

Since people can do 60 points of wounding in 4 seconds with rapiers using lunge, and limbs can go down to like, -200 wounds, I don't think it'd be unfair for knights.

I don't think there are more than 1 or 2 knights that can muster 60 points of wounding in 4 seconds. The most I can do is roughly 45 to 50 with lunges and I have 220 and 190 precision rapiers. That being said, woundings is still under works, if this idea is to be considered, it should wait at least after the wounding changes are finalized at least.

I think you are basing this all on a false assumption. For one Alger doesn't do that much wounds. Besides four lunges costs eight power. Most warriors, especially damage warriors do only about 4-7 wounds per swing, within about 3-4 seconds.

And just think 1-3% regen on all limbs is 7-21 wounds healed per tick. To me that seems extremely excessive when you consider all the numerous counters against warriors. Stances, Parry, Natural Dodging, Defensive, Rebounding, Shielding, Entanglement, etc.

Also it amuses me, Laysus, that on one thread you are complaining about warrior damage and on another complaining about wounding. What do you want? Warriors to be totally useless?

Please re-read Laysus's other thread about Knight damage. You will see that in two lunges, Laysus is almost instantly slain. That, my friend, is what we call excessive. Let us all bear in mind that Laysus is also one of those 'fabled' Moondancers know for their tankiness.

Furthermore, stances; parrying; and rebounding were not added at whim. Knights are (in theory) supposed to be balanced so that their offense counters those easily. I mean seriously, how hard is it to raze to drop rebounding? And I must say, you have balls to try and instigate that you can slow down a knight with shielding when you can raze shield 6 times per 1 time I can shield. As for entanglements, everyone gets summer/tipernet-whatever.

To my knowledge, there is no such thing as natural dodging. The only time I ever appear to dodge is when a weapon is just terrible -or- if I'm stanced and the person strikes at a body part that is being protected. Unstanced with good weapons, people do not natural dodge. Any failure to hit is the fault of the weapon not the target.

What is defensive? It sounds kinda broad to me.

Defensive is a knight skill. And its pretty insane against other knights. Moving on though.

10 power used, 1480 damage, time before being able to attack again, long. Thats the kind of damage warriors do if they don't spend alot of money for artifacts. Also about the Ixion log, note Laysus' max health 2612, do you really think the game would be balanced if warriors were changed so that people with low health could tank artified warriors, when its not hard for people to have much higher numbers in health. I mean don't you sit at 5k+ yourself most of the time.

So when I hit level 80, Ixion should still be able to kill me in 4 lunges and it will be perfectly acceptable?
